I'm not stressed about the Pies loss as it was our first game post Rance and it was to early to make wholesale on and off field changes, but the Giants loss was a shocker and we responded the following week with an outstanding win over Port, then came the Dogs shocker and we also responded with a cracker against Freo, then last week the stinker against lowly n0rth hopefully means the rebounding pattern continues. Even Dollhouse said in Monday's paper that a few of the Cats weren't too happy with our loss knowing we will respond.
we were right in the giants game until cotch went down in the 3rd (already had shorty out 10 mins into the first quarter)

we win that game (or go close) if cotch and short didnt go down

Rioli plays well against the Cats.
We targeted Danger in the 2017 finals, he came off second best.
StackMan to crunch Kelly, I hope.

And Graham wasn't it? Pretty sure we had one rotation. We also missed a lot of set shots if I recall correctly. Commentators went in dry but we were actually equal at 3/4 with 1 sub

We have matched up well on the Cats in recent times, and our form at the MCG (losses against Chokingwood only) suggest we are a chance, even given our long injury list. Graham should be an inclusion, and I was hoping Lambert (but still injured) would be ready. Cotchin has his return game under his belt, and I expect a hostile welcoming for ablett and the Cats. We were underdogs in the final in 2017, and I have a similar feeling going into this game. Naish would be a logical inclusion, but against the Cats stronger midfield, and Lambert not available, this might open the door for Townsend. Players would be keen to amend for the disappointing performance against lolnorf.

This will be a lot closer than the "experts" think..

Just realised our spine is still out lol. Can't take a trick at the moment. Was hoping Lambo and Graham would both be in this week. Listening to Burge it appears unlikely.

No chance. Cats midfield will destroy ours. There's the harsh reality, our weakness right now is their strength.
I’m most worried about how they’ll dominate us in the air. Even more than their midfield. I don’t believe anyone in the competition can play the uncontested brand better than Geelong. They obliterated West Coast with that style, so we’re in trouble if we don’t bring our pressure. Our pressure is what overwhelmed them in the 2017 QF and I read a stat saying that we ranked 18th for pressure factor this year so that’s got to lift.

Seems strange but this is the most confident I've been all season of a win. If we had Jack Rance Lambo and Nank back I'd be saying 8-10 goal win but with a lot of injuries it will be closer but just got this feeling we will win and win well.

Match up well vs them I reckon. Rioli and Townsend are must ins for mine
