I dunno. They have a long way to go to turn around this season. They just seem out of answers. Very, very hard battle from here to make the top eight.

I mean, locks for the top 8 are basically already:
- Freo
- West Coast
- Sydney
- Collingwood
- Hawthorn

There's arguably 3 spots left between patchy contenders:
- GWS
- Adelaide
- Richmond
- Geelong
- Port
- Norf
- Bulldogs

They still have a mathematical chance, but they are just so patchy at the minute. They'll get momentum for about 10-15 mins, and then drop off a cliff. Really inconsistent.

Essendon have games against all those except Geelong and only away games are against GWS and Gold Coast. I wouldn't tip us on form but I think we're an outside chance if we can get some form together, if 12 wins is enough.
