Hi Tox, firstly I would like to thank you for calling Cotchin and Griffin solid. Very generous of you. I have considered Martin > Hodge many times but how worries me as I think he might have a few games off coming up when they start getting the bulk if their team back. What I planned for two weeks ago was Hanley but of course the prick gets 130 and jumps out of range...I have no interest in Jaensch or getting rid of Gardiner. I do like Walker as he has that high ceiling but he hasn't even shown it once this year, so that's a query although I assume he would be a pod. Maybe your right and I do just go to Hodge/Walker and sit on my five trades.

It's just so tempting to get rid of Higgins, make $200k and upgrade Griffin to libba. I'll stick with Cotchin because I have a sense of humour...

But unsure what my second trade will be with no viable rookie defenders to bring in for Langford.

For all those that are worried about Stef Martin's scoring once Leuy returns, it's worth noting that Trent West was still putting up solid scores at the start of the year when Leuy was playing. He scored 100, 56, 82 the 3 games they played together. Don't see why Martin couldn't do the same.

Langford > cheap arze rookie
Sheton > FYFE
5 trades, bugger all cash and crappy defence and ruck cover left but I'm done

I dunno if I'm to far back for overall honours but top 100 would be great. Don't have many trades left but I'm willing to do 2 this week. Langdon and Higgins would have been gone already but things never go to plan... Will hold onto Langdon for now. He's pretty solid anyway.

I have but I think with my lack of trades getting in another rookie like The Govner or Miles that will actually play might be needed for cover later down the track. Also I don't like buying premos at the peak of their price. I'd prefer Buddy at his price.

even if honey doesnt get a game you have taylor you can use as a dpp swap / bench cover

If a ruck gets injured they'll be a 500K+

so simply trade them out, move Martin to ruck and buy a gun fwd or mid.

but that means you ahve traded out a gun ruck rather than cover him for a week

I've thought of another idea mate. This week I could do Hartung > Stef Martin (Danger to Mids) & Derickx > Brown (opens up the DPP with Stef) which leaves me 199k...I can use that later down the track to upgrade Shenton or Taylor when they peak. That way I keep Breust and once I upgrade Shenton/Taylor then Breust/Stef would be my F6/7

Anyone think I'm crazy considering going Swan>Miles and using the cash to upgrade Higgins and Langdon in the next 2 weeks? Probably go Buddy> Higgins this week and Langdon>Swallow next week and keeping some $$$?

You have 20k and all your cows are mooing. Can't do anything with Higgo without making a sacrificial move to do so. Should have bought in Zorko for Higgo last week.

I took a risk last week and traded cotchy and watson to prestia and redden. Sort of paid off but really should have moved Higgins on sooner. I was hoping he would find that form he had a few weeks ago.
