No I was being silly. Because we don’t want his milestone at marvel against north like steele!I don’t think he does, unless there is more to Flys comments that warrant a break, there is a week off straight after and he’s just come off a longer than usual time between games this week.
I’m expecting North to come out with some confidence, I think we need to come out hard and take some confidence into the week off.
Well he did do that little jump for the ball that a few people were talking about.Cox and Mitchell. I'd potentially be looking moving on Sidebottom form.dependent when all return.
Elliot is a walk up IF 100% fit but if he runs out of time to get up to speed HH is a capable replacement. Wasn't like Elliot was in earth shattering form anyway before injury
Well he did do that little jump for the ball that a few people were talking about.
I am not sure who will come out, but we might be in for a surprise with the selection of Ned Long as sub. Just a thought.
Long is still injured, so I doubt it.Well he did do that little jump for the ball that a few people were talking about.

Love this from Fly, shows we have a great system. And Fly has repeatedly said he doesn't care about stats, he's even said we don't value kicking efficiency like other teams, he doesn't see it as a prerequisite to winning games.
Takes the pressure off the players if they do make a 'mistake'.Love this from Fly, shows we have a great system.
Reminds me of Hawthorns golden era & how Clarkson never used to worry about contested ball.
It's doing my head in.We have an obsession with resting players around here, even when half the side’s out, there’s still calls to rest the few fit players we have left.
Even when we have half the list out injured, and we're winning.. people are still not happy, now they want to rest the only fit players we have leftIt's doing my head in.
And we have a bye the following week!Even when we have half the list out injured, and we're winning.. people are still not happy, now they want to rest the only fit players we have left
No need to rest any players next week. That's what the bye the week after is for.
Keep the same team, don't take North too lightly, go hard for the win, and then put the feet up and reassess with whoever is available after the bye.
Yeah we’re not resting blokes after dropping 2 points to Fremantle and 4 to the Dogs. Got to make every post a winner in a season this tight.
So it seems to be a somewhat popular opinion here to rest a bunch of players this coming weekend in order for them to be fit, firing and fully prepared for …
… thé bye.
We do not need to rest players this week.
Stop it.
If we are to win this match, we need it to be a big percentage booster. No time to be complacent after beating a pitiful Demons side.
Roo's will probably offer more fight than the Dee's did.
Can we stop with the resting players. Norf is no certainty just like every other club
We have an obsession with resting players around here, even when half the side’s out, there’s still calls to rest the few fit players we have left.
It’s basically the spiritual leader of the club having his 200th, so I’m sure we’ll rest everybody and have Parker playing ruck, Jiath full back and plonk an injured Ned Long at full forward.
you weren’t the only one suggesting resting players, why do you assume everything is about youIs there a reason so many here love to overreact and invent scenarios that don’t exist?
“Rest bunch of players”
“Obsessed with resting players”
Literally the only player who anyone suggested be “rested” was Daicos and the only reason for that was because there’s a decent chance he’s injured
Given he was subbed off due to - you guessed it, injury, it seems fairly natural after what happened with Mihocek, De Goey and Pendles and how we managed their injuries that some supporters don’t want us f**king around with our best player the week before the bye playing against the bottom side?
But you know, go off I guess and carry on like people are suggesting we swap out the AFL side for the VFL side ffs
Let's just beat norf first. We won't rest NickIs there a reason so many here love to overreact and invent scenarios that don’t exist?

Fly has already said he's fine. I don't think anyone wants him to play if he isn'tIf he’s not injured, sure play him
But as far as I’m concerned, if there’s any risk of aggravating something or causing damage that leads to multiple weeks out?
Then bloody oath don’t play him
Given we accounted for a near full strength Melbourne with Daicos having almost zero influence, I’m not sure why Nick would be the difference between winning and losing against North Melbourne

Knock to the shin. Would of been painful at the time but he'll be fineListening to him after the game he has every intention of playing this week.

Why do you take everything so personally?
Pablo Disco Bar called for Kreuger to be rested. You evidently missed that furore.Who is taking anything personally?
I’m wondering why so many in here are acting like people are calling for a confirmed fit player to be rested or asking for anyone other than a possibly injured player to be rested?
I think as has been mentioned before - Noble's was definitely way worse last week than his this week, and no one was calling for him to be dropped because he has shown this year to be one of our most important attacking players consistently. He had a back night definitely, but is a very good player. He also equaled his career high of 5 tackles and his pressure was immense and provided some run off half back.
Did everything that was needed of him, his disposal efficiency was poor today however it has been fine ever since he came back against Carlton. Noble's was 100% way worse last week and no one was calling for him to be dropped.
Don't mess with something that's working fine. The run, pressure and energy that he provides us is essential
