I just don't think the game allows a player as limited offensively as Wright anymore. Richmond have a few defensive forwards but they can all be offensive when needed. You need a diverse skill-set to succeed now, even as a defensive forward.

Sadly Wright is just a defensive battering ram with pretty much no offensive upside at all, I'm honestly shocked to see him back in the team, even with injuries.

Funny how selection integrity is all about seeing our favourite players selected regardless.

Wright has earnt his call up. Due to injuries but on form he's next cab off the rank.

Wrighty will have the Longer effect. A genuinely limited player, but reasonable at what they CAN do, makes our team better. I'm not being sarcastic either. I much prefer Hickey, and am not a big fan of Wrighty, but the team - overall - does play better, somehow, when those gumby's are on the pitch.
