Hard week to pick the changes as usual as its impossible to predict whats on the minds of our selection committee, Banfield had 30 touches, 7 marks, 12 tackles and a couple goals. Carter is ready to play, bring him in and leave him in for the rest of the year. Fyfe the only obvious in at this stage granted all goes well with the elbow.

Take the win against Sydney but don’t get comfortable. Freo were real bad and lucky to get away with that one. The 3 ruck idea was 2 points off being a disaster. Thought Sandi battled well, couldn’t fault his effort but I think his time is up. One slow ruck is enough and Darcy is obviously the future.

Bring in whoever, there’s no obvious game plan or structure anyway so any one can come in and play the kick and hope up the lines. Maybe blood more kids.

Hughes won’t be dropped. Most marks for Freo with 8. Thought he was solid. He offers us a lot defensively.
Bewley will stay in.

Really don’t know. The depth is shot.
Banfield is going to come in, and play half forward.
Let’s shake things up and bring in Carter and Dixon. Debut players. But it’s just deck chairs being moved around

I think a Dixon debut needs to be looked at.
I wouldn’t be against that ‘like for like’ change.

Banfield has certainly ‘worked his way in’ but maybe they just don’t like what he had to offer... which isn’t much.

Hughes was great early

They need to make sure Hughes is off in the last 5 mins of close games, he has a tendency to be a deer in the headlights and PANIC!

Would love to see Carter get a run. If he plays next week and stays in it'll be great experience for him in prep for next year.

It's hard to believe it's Round 19 and our 1st Round Selection, 2nd Round Selection and NGA all all yet to even taste AFL.
