Out Sandi and in Fyfe.
Lobb should be good to play.
Hughes I’ve been a knocker but he did have a really good go against the Swans.

Because ross is a fool. Fyfe is a natural forward. I still think there are times where our mids stand back & just fyfe watch. Imo we would have lost last night with fyfe in the middle.
Put him in the forward line.
Exactly. What better challenge to back the midfield to do their part. If we’re going to go long and high, Fyfe going for the mark gives us a lot more confidence and structure then Sandi.
Blakely/Mundy/Brayshaw/Tucker can do the job.

Sandi and Darcy in the same team, never thought I'd see the day and hope I don't see it again. But if Lobb is out I know I will.
I'm in the camp that thought Hughes was good last night. thought wilson was just about our worst last night, I watched him a bit and he's a lazy player. Won't get dropped either though.

Out Lobb in Fyfe is most likely IMO

Lot of people saying Sandi out but I'd like to see him play out the rest of the year for us because 1 he's the best ruck we have and 2 he's earned the right to finish off a great career just like we nursed Pav to the finish

I know no ones disrespecting Sandi , you only had to hear the roar every time he went near the ball last night to know that , it's tempting to get cynical and to get stressed about the future when things aren't going great but you do have to protect the fabric of the club and who's to say the character of the great man won't give us a nice little end of career cameo to go out with

We aren't going to fix our skill issues in the next 5 weeks so our best chance of staying in the race is Sandi and Fyfe with someone like Brayshaw catching fire in the mids so it's not purely sentimental

I think most are assuming Sandilands won't travel/pull up for next week at this stage of his career.

Agree with Wilson. Is he injured? Somethings always up with him most games. We desperately need his drive and kicking out of defence. Hardly been consistent this year.
At least Hughes does more. Wilson reminds me of a Heath Shaw type. Lazy types that are half backers

Yeah maybe the case but still English is a young ruck who's been carrying the load all year and Sandi giving him a touch up in the hitouts is the best shot we have of competing with one of the more dangerous midfields going around

Put him on the train in a crate packed with dry ice

He doesn’t even have do anything. Block English with his weight, and dominate the taps. English is nothing on him. Fair point. If we can get the taps forward of centre, creates a lot of pressure for their mids.

Because Wilson is the only dangerous line breaker, teams sweet on him.

What we need is another line breaker.

Darcy was better than Sandi on almost every stat last night, so I don’t understand the bold call above. I thought Darcy was ok, so too Sandi?
I thought he was ok too. I know when I checked at half time he was second only to Mundy in both contested possession and clearances. Really important considering Mundy was the only one doing that job in the absence of Fyfe.

Thought it worked OK when we had a mix of Lobb/Sandi or Lobb/Darcy forward, just needed some of our smalls to stay home a bit more. Clearly our inability to hit a target i50 has forced us to give the players bombing options that are strong enough not to get. outbodied and can compete in the air.

Switta out - Carter in (dream scenario)

If fyfe is fit then darcy or sandi stay home.

If wilson is injured as he looks to be (form average for last five weeks) then give him a rest and bring carter in. Either way get carter in.

Play Darcy/Sandi. Smash their lack of rucks. Then play the smalls deeper inside 50 and have Lobb/Sandi resting around. They have a severe lack of height down back too.
They will man handle our big guys.

English will challenge the ruck but the crop out guy will jump into our rucks. Then their midfield will shark the tap.

Their defenders will hold and cut the arms of Sandilands and Darcy in marking contests.

Umpires will pay free kicks against our two big guys when react.

Out: Darcy (stays if Lobb or Sandi not right to play), Switta (not doing enough)

In: Fyfe(If Fyfe not fit, i'd go with Crowden), Banfield (tag Wood and apply FWD pressure and hopfully some goals, something switta is not doing)
