It's never going to happen... every team plays guys who are not fit every week, just more so when the flag is on the line!I’m hoping we’ve finally learned our lesson re: selecting unfit players.
McLean as stay home forward, McDonald pushing up the ground, Amartey 2nd ruck/forward

Roberts again. We'll rotate the sub among our best mids/smalls from the VFL to make sure that the sub doesn't keep missing out on a lot of gametime, but since both Roberts, Sheldrick were able to play in the VFL practice match last weekend (after the GC game), I'd expect Roberts to miss the VFL curtain raiser and be sub again. Sheldrick had the more interrupted pre-season so expect to see him get a full VFL match. If Amartey comes into the 22. It will be interesting to see who we pick as the sub. Whether we try to use a different player each week so more players on the fringes get AFL experience. Or go with Roberts again.
Later on in the season, we might see a few young players get a debut as the sub because at least this year they are virtually guaranteed to get some game time.
The problem with using the same bloke as sub several times is that they don’t get much game time.If Amartey comes into the 22. It will be interesting to see who we pick as the sub. He’s never seen a baby cow before….Some bloke just called SEN saying Errol is in doubt with a calf
A problem of biblical proportions. We worship Errol's kicking, the footy gods get angry and destroy the Gulden calf. Some bloke just called SEN saying Errol is in doubt with a calf
I was listening to the True Bloods podcast this week. They reckon "Errol's left foot kicking has cured erectile dysfunction".A problem of biblical proportions. We worship Errol's kicking, the footy gods get angry and destroy the Gulden calf.
Peter (Ladhams) denied us 3 times in last years final series with his suspension too, worry about what he'll face in future.
I get calf cramps , that is something else !Seeing a few calf related problems across different sports lately. Calf injuries are notoriously tricky to manage.
Roberts played a VFL practice match last weekend, the day after the sub appearance. Sheldrick is the one they'd be more concerned about getting back to full fitness in the VFL.The problem with using the same bloke as sub several times is that they don’t get much game time.
I’m only guessing - but I suspect Roberts starts this week.
Me for two years. Let's see what happens. I'm optimistic.I have been manifesting this forward line for over a year now.
I'm gonna look like an absolute potato if it flops
Errol is lucky to be on the bench
We all knew this is going to be our (tall) forward line from 2024 anyway, no shame in hoping it will work out, finding reasons to believe.I have been manifesting this forward line for over a year now.

Probably should be posted here too:
Will be some added minutes for existing mids, plus just having Roberts in there, but if we want someone to come in and perform the Gulden quality delivery role, I reckon we have some options.See this is why I am just so damn optimistic about this year. A player of Errol Gulden's quality being out should have me worried, but this just probably means someone of Callum Mills' quality gets more midfield time.
I only said some flog calling SEN saying he's out !Roberts looks certain to get a full game. Gulden is a big out but our midfield should be deep enough to cover.
