Granted he was playing on the worst forward in the competition, but Moore was excellent
Koesitzkie is more a role.player than no 1 kpf or 3rd tall. Not Moores fault. But JK tried hard and got to dangerous positions. And Moore probably won the battle on balance Richmond thou are ****ed because of the state hardwick left them in. Lessons need to be learnt at collingwood given our list profile

The Taranto and Hopper trade was horrendous for the picks they gave up and the contracts they got

We win, but feels more like a 3 goal loss. Richmond a woeful at the moment.

Naicos was sublime all day, but the rest of the midfield almost non existent. I don’t see Long as offering much nor for that matter Bytel who I thought was ok today.

Sidey should retire at year end. The gap between his best and worst is getting bigger, and they are happening more frequently.

Liked Hill, Elliot and McStays game today. Coxy was a welcome return to the team,

When Dan was marking and kicking goals today, I said to my mate, please don’t wake me up. I’m dreaming that we have a tall marking forward who’s kicking goals.

It wasn’t a great or dominant game for him, but very encouraging given his second game back.
We look a different side with McStay and cox in the side.

I thought Cameron was excellent with his marking again today

If it feels like a three goal loss you’re not doing it right.

Could you please explain that?
Cos all I saw was a guy routinely guarding grass, being loose, not manning up and usually taking too long to dispose of the ball.
Just got away with it against crap opposition.

I’ve haven’t seen a greater momentum killer since trying to open the condom in the dark.
Played his role well today.

Give the guy a break

It felt like a good win to me. Very happy. Zero to complain about.
Good first half. It was a pretty quiet crowd in the last quarter.

We did enough.

He was woeful in the early days - but to his great credit he improved markedly and became a very good player.

Malthouse once said BJ's kicking started looking better once his teammates learned to mark helicopters.

A win is a win, but watching that second half and especially how we faded in Q4 really just highlighted how we were wholly satisfied to just bank a win against the possible wood spooners, as opposed to a team looking to sneak into the top 8 putting the foot down and building a bit more momentum and confidence for next week against Carlton.

Nice to gets the points against the tuggers. Was structure was much better today with Cox in the side.

Disappointing we gave up a couple of red time goals late in the third and fourth quarters, but think we’re still a while of our best fitness.

Bytel’s best game for the club, seemed to handball more late, which I think is a better option than kicking under pressure for him. Can see why the club is giving Parker games, works hard and does some nice things. McStay looked better for the run last week. Thought Elliott, Hill and Moore had their best games in a while. Elliott is probably another who’s finding match fitness.

An improvement in form was always going to start with us probably scraping a win out, and we probably got a little more than that today.
Tall forwards looked pretty decent against a smaller defense. Midfield had a few extra hands do some dirty work to help the Daicos boys. Moore had a nice intercepting game.

Were you at the game or watching on TV?
Cos I didn’t see that Bytel.
I Saw an extra mid prepared to work to find space especially in link up play. An extra who gathered 25 odd touches who is not named Daicos or Pendles.
His other attributes are quite vanilla but he made a difference today.
