In this case i am doubtful and i reckon port wouldnt want to pay up for Wingard.

Many of Port fans want him and if they want him, they need to pay up or wait for the news at end of trade period for the news we have signed him for 1 yr with triggers for 2nd or some one else in flag window has paid a fair price to sign him. Have seen Dons fans being interested in him.

Port has 37,42 and 73. I can settle for 42 or F3+73.

I think we are getting a pretty good template for how we can win games in 2024.

1. Give Sicily enough support in the backline so he can play his natural, intercepting game (he will win us 5+ games next year off his own boot doing this). For me this means Blank and Scrimmers are automatic selections.

2. Play three talls in the forward line. Lewis, Ryan plus Kossy/new recruit.

3. Get the balance between new bodies and veterans correct. Having Morrison and Scrimmers in the team really helped us with our ball movement and tempo this week.

4. Back our midfield to beat anyone.

Earlier in the season I would have disagreed with you on Reeves/Meek but since the Carlton game with Silvagni tearing us a new one I'm all for a more mobile second option.

So ive had time to watch the game , just brilliant ! observations:

1- Sam Mitchell and coaching staff, take a bow . Didnt allow them the run and chain handballs through the middle.
2- Finn to Daicos , that move will reignite the need for a dedicated tagger
3- Sicily going untagged after Ross Lyon had successfully tagged him was a huge mistake. Other teams will try and tag him and itll be interesting to see how Sam Mitchell can exploit that.
4- Midfield made up for last week, need to play like that week in week out.
5-Brandon Ryan is going to cause headaches for opposition coaches , especially if it means we can play Lewis at CHF.
6- Hardwick , Mr Dependable.
7- Everyone played their part.
When it all clicks its pretty special.

We've had significant wins in the past two years but this one I firmly believe is the step forward that we've been expecting.

Incredible stat when you think about it.

Pendles and Sidey probably their best mids yesterday, and the 2 they need to move on.

Tom and Adams were both rubbish.

Their midfield looks bog average to me.

The crazy part about some of the footy we've been able to play this year is that we are almost 10 months younger than the next youngest side, and 11 games less experienced. Not really core older players surrounded by youth either, the youth are the core.
