Can't complain too much about that team, King is the obvious inclusion ahead of Hayes and Membrey who probably need to spend more time in the VFL.

Would rather billings in and Gresh sub but I'll take it.

Gresham had more of an impact than Billings when he came on as the sub so I can understand them making that change.

Gresham being made the sub looked like it might have been the kick up the arse he needed, hopefully the same thing happens to Billings if he's the sub.

Wouldn’t mind having Hayes as the sub, would be better suited anywhere forward of centre but if Curnow gets hold of us might be a worthy opponent for him.

For anyone trying to convince themselves we are a genuine chance this week look no further than these following stats from the last time we played them. Admittedly we were traveling better back then but they were 3 wins and a draw from 5 games. Cerra, Walsh, Mackay, Kennedy, McGovern all played. And the week after we rolled them they beat the Eagles by 108 points.

DE for Seb, Thanks, not Crouch

I reckon we match up pretty well, and I think our kids probably edge the Carlton fringe players.

Cordy on TDK and resting Pittonet will be an important matchup.

Need our centre clearance players to break even and prevent a run on, and then it becomes about how well we can contain the Carlton back men.

I'm confident we will be in this game for a long time and if we can convert our opportunities, I think we win.

And if we do win, I can see some corps de esprit fomenting at exactly the right time.

Big game!

Hotton looks the goods
Keeler, Heath, still raw but you can see the upside.
Coff looks in great shape, I know my eyes are shot but at one stage mistook him for Max, not as tall, but now has that upper body V shape. Looks string and once he has a run at it could be a real asset.
Peris, nippy little forward worth persevering with.
Allison a big unit, would like to see him get a runat it

Full ground contested training, sloppy but understandable.
Gres doing his utmost to be accurate and doing a good job.
