Think this fella cares, just a bit

I hope he stays. In the past it’s always felt like he stayed for the $$, but his buy in this year has been brilliant. I think Fly can bring out the best in him and help him become the player we have all hoped he’d be for so long now.

How are you guys living through this? Unbelievable the bunch of you haven't had to re-start your heart at any point in the last 3 months.

57 years since you've won 11 straight, too.
I heard this stat but think it’s wrong, didn’t we win like 14 in a row in 2011?

He stopped “on” the mark. Then stepped forward which was play on. Didn’t go off the line sideways. Went ahead of it.

This is a great example of terrible non-contextual umpiring. Don't care if it is technically correct. Umpiring isn't about "gotcha" calls and surprises. I'm not one for commenting on umpiring but thought they were terrible last night. Really gave some easy goals to them and broke the natural momentum of the game. Also let them get away with many holding the balls. I say this just to say that we were actually better than it seemed outside of clearance

Can anyone explain to me why Nick Daicos was told to play on in the last quarter?

He looked to the left

But Ben Brown taking a 50 metre run up?

All good

F***king spare me

He didn't move off his mark though - did he run out of time? I'm still baffled by it too. If we did that, reckon they'd have given Melbourne a 50.

It was a disgraceful call. Plain and simple.

Is it just me or was there a harder physical edge to us last night?

The media and umpires have virtually declared open season on the club and a lot of penalties that should have been forthcoming have been ignored in past weeks.

If this harder physical edge is in response to that I will cheer it all the way - take no sht from the peanut gallery!

A player stepping forward of the mark is always play on. We got it as good as them when it comes to favourable decisions. AJ’s scoop on the boundary was as throwy as a throw could be. Even Pendles HTB on Petracca was lineball.

Take off the glasses.

I definitely noticed some personal hardness post game

Surely some love for Sidebottom, thought he was really good. He ran all night, 4th highest metres gained and was an option on the wing.

McCrae about to talk on ABC Radio Melbourne

Chris Scott, his former Premiership teammate, just said that Vossy knocked-off McCrae's Xmas decorations as a stitch-up

Hopefully Bloodnuts ruins Carlton's Xmas this year

That freekick against Petracca was for incorrect disposal and not for HTB. It was justice in the end because he'd been getting away with it all night.

Also, stepping forward on the mark is not play on. As long as you don't move off your line, it's not play on.

It's kind of annoying that we've won 11 games straight with many in extraordinary fashion and yet we still aren't a lock for a top 4 finish thanks to our inferior percentage.

One more win likely still required people.
