I really hope this is the side we run with at selection, Both Short & Nank have missed a month of footy, Soldo & Banks stay in the side as much needed support. Banks switches from wing to HB, Ross plays wing & mid, Coulthard gets his first full game, Nank plays 2nd ruck against English who'll destroy him if we dont play Soldo given the limited prep hes had.

How do you blokes rate Young's first season in the seniors?
Pretty impressive overall for a first year albeit a mature ager. Dimma and Mini have certainly thrown him in the deep end. Has had some poor moments but overall very good defensively, seems to read the play pretty well and doesn't seem to get overawed. Once he gains more confidence I'd like to see him go for his marks more and get more involved offensively but he's already making progress on those.
Another pre-season will do him wonders. If you'd have told me in pre season he'd play nearly every game, I wouldn't have believed you. Think we've found a steal.

That was the last win I've been to. Marvel sucks and there was only like 10k supporters there, but the crowd was pretty immense when we came back and won. Really loud considering the crowd. Was something good from that terrible year.

Yeah like this. Do think we need to get Bauer in though, but MC won't go for it, and will probably have Pickett in and Coulthard sub. We were bold enough to play Bauer a few weeks ago so I don't know why we don't go with him again. Not sure how I'd fit him in that team you've got though. Maybe Coulthard sub (as much as I want him in the 22) and Pickett out of the side.

Interesting. Nank for Miller obviously, but then what? I would've said Short for Cotch, but it might be Bauer to take Cotch's spot, and Short for Banks? I'd like Banks in but I wouldn't be opposed if it gets Bauer in the side. Then what do we do with Coulthard? Want him to play but I guess he becomes sub again, unless Banks does. Bauer might be playing as sub too.

Same as every game pretty much. That's why we haven't won many I think. Games are won in the midfield and despite us having one of the best on paper, we're near the bottom for clearance differential and I50's. It's frustrating because you feel like we should be doing so much better this year. Doesn't always work out I guess. At least it did for 3 premierships
