After a very disappointing first quarter and a half, hopefully that last 2 and a half quarters is exactly what we needed to find our mojo and head into the dogs game and finals with a bit of confidence… confidence we haven’t seemed to have played with all year. It’s such an open finals series, and we are in it as much as anyone!

I guess if you don't post a take you can never be wrong.

Come now, this (exceedingly rare) outcome was never in doubt (despite being comprehensively outplayed by this latrine-tier Carlton outfit for well over a quarter)!

Still think Port is unbalanced. But not sure what the change is.

Lycett needs Ladhams, Ladhams up forward helps Dixon. MG looks much more damaging with Marshall in the team… But Mashall looked damaging because he has space as Ladhams is resting up forward and attracted a tall defender.

Hate to say it, but maybe it’s Lycett…. But last week we missed Marshall and I called for Ladhams to be dropped,

Im so confused.

They didn’t look any better than the crom, and this time we had Todd Marshall (plus 12 goals?)

The dodgy first quarter and a half was just at the stoppages really. They were getting some very clean centre clearances and seemed to be overloading the stoppages around the ground to good effect.

The coaches changed something and turned Carlton into witches hats. What an absolute flogging. All played well.

Not a rhetorical question because I haven’t been paying much attention to the other nominees - who of the rising star contenders has had a better year than Bergman? Kid’s an absolute jet.

Jackson will win it, but both Bergman and Georgiades should be right up there.

georgiades

he's going to finish the year with 32 goals as a teenager key forward but will lose to a forward ruck who has kicked 13 goals and been okay in the ruck cause vic.

Tom green, luke Jackson and Georgiades have all been better. Still an incredible year for him though.

Reminder too that Butters didn't even get a rising star nomination.
