Shai Bolton has had 78 scoring shots from 20 games this year. If Hardwick isn’t matched up on him I would be very surprised. I think Maginness will play on Cotchin.

Blake Hardwick is the best defender in the league. Come sue me. Bolton or Cumberland better get ready for the worst performance of their career because they are fu**ed.

Impey has added much needed speed in the forward half since moving away from playing in defence. Hawthorn are also undefeated when Impey has played as a forward. Furthermore, this move has allowed Moore to play in the midfield during the last five weeks.
Moore has looked capable of transitioning into a midfield role regardless of Jars being moved forward due to his poor form in the backline.
Sure we've won 4 games with Jars playing forward, 3 that we were favourites and 1 that was 50/50 on a ground we dominate on. Given that Jars stats still don't look great playing forward.
AF 227 avg.(56.75)
Goals 3 avg.(0.75)
Behinds 7 avg.(1.75)
GA 2 avg.(0.5)
This over 4 games against bottom sides isn't good enough. I hope he works his arse off against the Tigs and kicks 2-3 or more but his form for this year is depth at best for next year.

I hate to think what the Tigers playing for a finals spot will do in a big game to the likes of Serong Butler Ward MacDonald etc etc.

Will Day is still recovering from 2 years ago when Caddy and Co smashed into him and then drove him into the turf.

Hopefully we rest some of the lighter lads and play Shiels Howe and anyone else with some body size to make up the numbers.

They're playing more kids now also.
I'd bring CJ straight in, and Lewis if fit.

Line in the sand.

It's time to put them back in their box.

Been years of too many Tigers who sleep with the lights on whacking our smaller bodied/younger players.

Time to bring in crazy eyes and put him on a wing, have Hartigan as the sub with Roger Merrett type license to maim, then let Dermott speak to the team before the first bounce.

Would be nice to win too.

Don’t know how else you squeeze Blanck back in - who will be vital with Lynch/Riewoldt to take on. DGB should get another game - I don’t think constantly having him come in and out will be benenficial.
Might be a good time to "manage" some players.

DGB needs more game time, but with CJ & Blanck coming in, someone has to go out.

Sicily & Scrimshaw come to mind.

With 2 games to go we might look at 'resting' a few players in the reserves this week. We play the Handbaggers and need to keep our finals campaign alive.

Food for thought.

Great opportunity for our young players the next fortnight to experience playing against teams that are going to try and bring finals intensity given how much they have at stake.

A win this weekend would be massive for the groups belief in 2023. Feel we're a chance too.
