Have we been trying something different other than the now-standard zone? The commentators pointed something out on the weekend and I must have misheard or misunderstood.
Half court press (sort of).
I've noticed us zoning when it's in our forward line, and then transitioning to 1-on-1 the moment it reaches the centre square

You cut and paste the same comment most weeks.

Geez, it'll be a big ask.

Our problem is consistency over four quarters. We're playing well for 1-2 quarters then almost capitulating for large segments of the game.

For me our fitness to play 4 qtrs is something that stands out.

Younger group perhaps need more Physical work into them.

Hoping Peter Burge brings a new edge this off season .

It's time to put them back in their box.

Been years of too many Tigers who sleep with the lights on whacking our smaller bodied/younger players.

Time to bring in crazy eyes and put him on a wing, have Hartigan as the sub with Roger Merrett type license to maim, then let Dermott speak to the team before the first bounce.

Would be nice to win too.
Unleash Nash, let him lay some big hits.

Surprised with the fair degree of optimism being shown tbh.

Think Richmond will win this one very easily.
It's winnable. Richmond are favourites - they have the better side and more to play for, but they're not super strong in the midfield anymore. We have done well at winning games we should win over the last few weeks. It would be nice to claim a scalp in the last fortnight and I reckon we're a better shot against Richmond than the Dogs, even though that game is in Tassie. The Dogs strength is our weakness and they belted us in the midfield last time.

I think the Dogs is our bigger chance simply because of venue, they looked lost the last time they played in Launceston.

Is this game sold out, or getting close to it? The only available seats I can see are GA??

Doubt it would be a sell out - be ~60,000 as a guess. I just looked on Ticketek and could get some lesser reserved seats (level 1 goal and level 4 front) available. That was without a member barcode - possibly if you’re using your Hawks membership there’s less options so try the public reserve.

I’ve just moved so never had a membership instead I would buy tickets for the Tassie games, getting one next year.

And yes I see this now, the level 1 goal and level 4 front are now showing as available (weren’t showing this when I posted).

Reserved seating would be taken up by members.
Won't go close to selling out. Biggest H&A between the 2 is only 50k
Yeah the only option was GA yesterday. However level 1 goal and 4 front are available today.

I’m pretty sure I can use my mates MCC that he gives me seeing as he goes to 1 pies game a year and offers it weekly haha

We’ll see anyway, appreciate it.
