It was highly entertaining but stressful (for both supporter groups I’m sure). Got to say Freo are a pretty impressive unit and look well coached.Great game today.

He seemed to take a lot of poor options today and lacked composure under pressure.Himmelberg needs a massive tune up, his head is outside the game.
He has an enormous kick, needs to use it more.He seemed to take a lot of poor options today and lacked composure under pressure.
If Ash is suspended, I’d say Haynes is ahead of AleerHe has an enormous kick, needs to use it more.
Maybe he could be a big winger.
Could Haynes come back into the team or Aleer?
If Ash is suspended surely we bring in someone like Stone or Fonti rather than a key defender. If Ash is suspended, I’d say Haynes is ahead of Aleer
I reckon Port fall to Freo with Treacy back …. 2nd is a real chanceThe following options are now possible for us in FW1:
Given Geelong’s weaker percentage, their chances of finishing second are now very low, so a match somewhere in Sydney or Adelaide looks most likely.
- Finish 4th and play Sydney in Sydney.
- Finish 2nd and play Port or Geelong at Giants Stadium.
- Finish 3rd and play Port in Adelaide or Geelong in Geelong.
Correct. We would lose so much run by bringing in Haynes or AleerIf Ash is suspended surely we bring in someone like Stone or Fonti rather than a key defender.
There was real outrage at some of the umpiring, especially when it was right under our noses. As an aside good to see the crowd increase and building.
It is getting much louder and more passionate at the Stadium too this year which has been great.
Yep.There was real outrage at some of the umpiring, especially when it was right under our noses.
Our core supporters can match those of any other club.
It was interesting after we gave the umps a spray or two that they suddenly saw a few holding the ball calls in the 2nd half.Yep.
It's like a rocket gets lit up under the crowd when the crowd perceives unjust decisions (or so many non-calls!!) towards our team.
Gets very loud, very quickly.
And no Houston for Port after a possible 4 weeks or longer suspension.I reckon Port fall to Freo with Treacy back …. 2nd is a real chance
He had 24 disposals and 6 tackles.Didn't Cogs miss the 2019 GF through injury? Gutted if it were to happen again. But we can't carry passengers through finals.
It’s a good call. Even someone like Serong who looks smallish on tv is very strongly built in reality.I agree with the poster that mentioned that Freo were big bodies and that was a strength of theirs.
Having watched the replay I was probably a little harsh in my assessment of his game initially. He had a few dodgy moments but overall wasn’t too bad.He wasn't his best. But hardly a passenger.
