I'm in a bit of a weird place, I've got a few premos I'm not sure about - Whitfield, Marshall, Ridley, but then I've got a few of the ones people have been scrambling to get in. Rookies seem pretty good, but Xerri would be nice. I already made a scrambling last minute corrective trade of Milera to Hewett last week.

I think I'll do a simple Gibcus to Xerri and leave it this week. I don't even hate Gibcus I just think Xerri looks like making a decent amount of money.

Anything else I need to do?

who do you wanna keep or who do you wanna get rid of? whitfield to bowey and then long to maybe stephens or xerri. could even consiser a caldwell type.

No need to. Just make your third trade and it will go through. Same thing happened to me as I was mucking around with teams so contacted SC. Just refresh to last weeks team as you must have already activated the Boost.

Yeah I'm fairly satisfied with it really. Would definitely prefer to do Hough out but it doesn't give me enough for Xerri, I don't think there's any other rookies worth looking at.

Whoa - That's a really strong starting side, you haven't missed too much, maybe Xerri - but, I wouldn't trade just to get him in.

I wouldn't necessarily do it, but if you wanted to pull the trigger on something, Whitfield to Young plus your cash would give you about 87k, which you could use to turn Long or Hough into Stephens.

Have considered it, but Young would have to be a keeper, which I don’t think he will be. So will have to pass, I think… Whitfield to Hewett would have been an easy trade… gah

What you’ve suggested looks good. Get McCartin down back and Xerri. You’re in a very good position.

Seriously considering the scorched earth trade policy this week and just wearing the fact I have no Neale, no Heeney, no Butters etc..

That will leave me with 29-30 green dots, above average cash gen on the way and $720K to do some bargain/unique correction shopping over the next few weeks, no doubt with a kitty left over for a couple of 1-trade upgrades once the cows start to moo.

I'll also get a little more time to assess who the 'must haves' are and just have to be satisfied with the fact most of my mid-pricers and rookies will increase in value more than they do in the meantime.

Play the superior cash gen, crafty value trades game and see how it pans out.

But...I am reserving the right to shake my fist at the sky when the two bargain mid-price FWD's I've missed knock out huge scores again, while Neale pigs his way to 64 possessions and 300 against Nth on Saturday night from 98% TOG and 98% of the board performs their captain dance on my SC grave.

I thought about it, but then remembered the COVID situation, the fact that he's played 13 games in two years, and there's a ceiling on defenders that don't take bulk kick-ins or get mid minutes (with the exception of a Weitering/Andrews type), or are mega gulls like Ziebell, Hall etc.

At that price, you're picking him to be a keeper, and with Ryan still kicking about, he's not going to feast on enough chips to make it worth your while. Could see a 85-90 average for sure, but there's better options out there.

Don’t think there is one outside those 2 you either downgrade all the way to Bowey or you find cash for a certain top 6 like Stewart/Lloyd.
