This will be our 6th match against Port at Adelaide Oval since they started playing there in 2014. We have played them at the MCG 5 times since their franchise was invented in 1997.

That will be 31 matches: 15 at Football Park, 6 at Adelaide Oval, 5 at the MCG, 4 at Wastelands, and 1 in Darwin.

are port one of the clubs that b*(es and moans about not getting enough games at the G?

AFL professionalism at work!
My guess is if the AFL did'nt screw over the founding Melbourne clubs to even up the advantages of playing at the G for interstate sides, those interstaters may split orff..or some other car crash that the AFL does not want to happen...
Feck the AFL needs a big shake up...They are all drunk on the money from TV rights...
Too blind to do the right thing, currently just going through the motions and hoping it will all turn out alright!
TV own$ footy now with all that money they paid out to broadcast footy on tv...AFL are just the lickspittles...

Unfortunately, it is classic AFL treatment of Richmond.

In 36 matches v Freo, 14 have been at the G.
In 38 v Adelaide, 12 at the G.
In 29 v Brisbane Lions, 9 at the G (or 17 of 46 including Bears).
In 8 v Gold Coast, 2 at the G. (ok, we sold 3 to Cairns.)
In 11 v GWS, 4 at the G.
In our last 24 v Norf since 2000, 7 at the G. 3 of our 'home' games at their home ground.
In 39 v St Kilda since 1993, 13 at the G. 5 of our 'home' games at their home ground.
In 36 v Sydney since 1995, 12 at the G.
In 43 v West Coast, 16 at the G (although only 19 in Perth, the rest at Waverley, Wastelands or Princes Park). Only 3 of last 13 at G, 8 in Perth.
In 22 v Western Bulldogs since 2001, 8 at the G. 4 of our 'home' games at their home ground.
7 of our last 8 v Geelong have been at the G, but of the 64 prior to that, just 21 were.

We should develop PRO into a 30k boutique stadium and threaten to play 8 games a year there.

Playing for the Mitch Farmer/Matt Thomas/Troy Chaplin cup. Some big names there that evoke a lot of emotion for me. I hope this is pretty much the opening bounce scene on Ports nominated tagger -

We'll actually be the hunters rather than the hunted. I like it. Put the onus on the coaching staff to come up with a plan to nullify Port and not just play our natural game.

Port's kids have been excellent so far so it'll be really interesting how our kids compare and whether they can sustain their form.

I don’t know, it’s hard to see us do anything other than lose. Another potential 10 goal loss sadly. Our defence would be a bit better than last week with Grimes and Houli in and same with our forward line with Caddy in, but our midfield will probably get exposed in a bad way. We just don’t have the depth right now to cover for the loss of one of Cotchin and Martin, let alone both.

I guess the only positive if we lose is that the 3 teams we’d have lost to this season were 3/5 of our losses last year, so having our best players in may not have changed the loss into a win.
