Three rounds in and it feels the whole world is against us already haha

Think about it , ever since we won the flag we have looks whiNging that the game is shit, and the rules have changed to take away our strengths. Then More looks about our players being overrated . And now this season , through sheer bad luck and our own lack of discipline we lose Martin , cotchin , short , grigg , Grimes ,caddy ,houli and Rance and riewoldt within three weeks . I mean all those guys could be in our top 12 players , all gone . You cannot get worse than that. If we lose its fair enough. Take 8 of oppos best 8 players out and they will lose too.

Imagine playing port with no gray , wines , boak, Ryder , Dixon ,westhoff , Jonas and Ebert
They'd be gone too

Just so annoyed at the cards dealt this season. And even more annoyed how oppo fans think it's fair enough because we had a good run with injuries . Doubt any team has had their top 5 or 6 all out at the same time

Nankervis or Houli (if he even plays) for the acting captain role in my opinion now that all of Rance, Riewoldt and Cotchin are out.

I think with all the experience and leadership out we may need a cool, mature head. Houli would be a good captain I think, but I also think Shedda would be too. A few people mentioned him earlier today and I find myself agreeing with them.

I hope Dimma realises we don't have the cattle to execute the usual game plan. Need to get the under performers with a decent tank like Butler and BEllis to play a run with tagging role to nullify Grey and Boak. NFI how they would perform at such an assignment but they sure as shit couldn't get much worse.

funny, I actually feel pretty good about this week. Nothing to back this up. But we've plenty of leadership (Grimes, Vlas, Dave, Graham, Tom Lynch, Dan) and lots of talent. Hopefully we'll just go in full on disciplined and energetic.

Dusty is no loss atm. Cotch is huge, but maybe the kids will cut loose. Defense is OK, but Houli can add run.

Don't know why, but I expect us to win or be damn close.
