When you realise that there are very few players that would be deserving of coming out for them it’s even harder

The suns early showed the comp how to beat it- you need to pass the ball lightning quick and practically flawlessly up the field before we get a chance to set up our zone.

Suns weren't good enough to sustain it- but they definately cracked us open (early stages) more than any other team so far

I think it shows that the list is talented and not devoid and bare as suggested.

It shows that last year we were poorly coached. 8-3 and we won a number of games off the back of a great quarter. Not 3-4 quarters of great footy.

Once we stopped played that 1 tremendous quarter. We fell apart.

The umpire called him for a throw, he gets shitty so runs up the field and takes a huge contested mark. King and Membrey are going to have to lift their work rates to match his defensive efforts. He's a really hard worker.

Sitting marshall down for an entire quarter was the kind of smart that eluded richo and ratts.

Cordy will get just as much out of it as roma.

He did it all the time last time he was here.

Rooey. Hayes BJ and Fish used to occupy the pine late in games we were cruising.

Pretty sure in one of the Gf years he took a 5th off late on and we ran around with 17 for the last few minutes

Difference is, those wins were a one quarter sugar hit.
Was never going to be sustainable To keep winning like that, as we saw eventually.

This year we are playing complete games - effort 100% of the time.

Can't see how D Mac gets a game. Yes he was good when he got going but there's no one in the team who's spot he'd take even before we bring in the obvious ones

There is no way he gets a game atm. Other than Cordy I honestly can't work out who would make way when Steele and King are back. When King is fit I don't even know how Membrey gets in the side.
