yep, as expected, rest (management) for McCarthy was a good selection but I would have also rested Smith and just played the one ruck in Stanley but Enright needs to be fresh for Port Adelaide given their dominant smalls in Gray, Wingard and Neade.

I have no idea how Murdoch gets a game. Gets more clangers than kicks and has not improved.

If McCarthy is rested why don't they say so? He definitely did not deserve to be dropped... But I can't be sure coz this is a typical 'Geelong MC' type move.

Kolo was ordinary last week...I wasn't surprised. I think Ruggles will start, and the backline looks ok to me.....horses for courses.

Definitely think McCarthy is rested so that's not to bad. Obviously Enright is as well. Kolo is a casualty of wanting to keep Henderson in the team and Lonergan being a senior player IMO. Disappointing if so, should be picking best available rather than name. Personally I'd have dropped Henderson but being a new arrival maybe he's getting a chance to bed in.

I'm in the "wouldn't have minded seeing GHS camp", just not sure who he comes in for.

Guthrie goes back - faster than Enright.
Lonergan replaces kolo. No lack of pace lost as Lonergan will play on Daniher. Kolo never would have.
Murdoch will roll back from the wing.
