If I go ahead with my planned trades, I'll be running the following down back for a few weeks (until Sheezgull and Ziegull get DPP)
Wilmot, Cowan (Chesser, Constable)
Genuinely concerned Cowan gets dropped, and Chesser is injured, and Constable won't come back
I might not be able to do my planned trades
Constable one of those annoying ones sitting there with a negative BE, out of the team for a month then play as a sub and punch out a 12
Yeah, have seen similar, Chinese Whispers areasNo clue. Apparently he got interviewed and said he wants to return in 3 weeks, but doctors are saying 6 weeks. Never found the source.
Bytel:
With Wood injured and someone else who I forget, he a chance to get back in on the reshuffle?
Any Saints fans got a read on it?
I had the same reservations about trading in Buckley. Very low disposal numbers for such high SC scores.Chandler scored 90 points off only 9 touches. I didn't watch the game but would think that would be a bit concerning for consistent scoring. I already have him but not sure if it's worth getting after already having an $80k price rise, reckon there's a bad score that's gonna come.
You really are new to this aren't you?Gulden > Day via DPP wizardry
Gulden done nothing wrong I just want my guy back in my team and trading him is the easiest option.
I would love to bring in LDU also, but as with Stewart, I am hesitant to trade in someone who just had a week off due to injury.View attachment 1648874
At this point I am thinking of capitalizing on LDU's price not moving.
Was actually considering him last week at the expense of Steele, but thankfully opted for Mini Daics instead and dodged a bullet. Feel like the SC Gods have given me him on a silver platter at his starting price, and Ridders to LDU via swinging Ginbey back is the ticket.
From there the plan would be punting Setters to Stewart next week via Kentstable, and using him as a bench loop for MID/DEF rookies, meaning it'd be Ridler -> Stewart and Setters -> LDU virtually.
Only stumbling block is I have $49.4k in the bank, so would need to find $11k in order to do the trade. This would mean punting a Phillipou earlier than wanted to a Phillips/JVR etc.
Alternatively, I use one trade by doing the old OUT/IN on Doc, which I don't like considering he's a season long keeper, and faces North this week who are leaky.
Thoughts, fellow brethren?
Beware LDU owners as we will hard tag him with either Newman or Hewitt who both play excellent lock down roles when needed.I would love to bring in LDU also, but as with Stewart, I am hesitant to trade in someone who just had a week off due to injury.
I really doubt we tag. We fully trust our mids to just win there nowadays, especially against the North mids (no offense). Possibly Ed Curnow goes on someone when they're hot but even that's more of a 'cooling' role then a hard tag.Beware LDU owners as we will hard tag him with either Newman or Hewitt who both play excellent lock down roles when needed.

I reckon we will and if Georgie Hewitt goes straight to him at the opening bounce that signals intention to keep him quiet and make another guy from North beat us in the middle. Hewitt plays that role exceptionally and still gets a heap of the ball himself.I really doubt we tag. Have you traded Doc out yet mate??
Hewett plays as a slightly more defensive minded sweeper role at the stoppage to allow Cripps, Walsh or Kennedy to go ball hunting, but that's not really tagging. I don't think he's given a hard tag once in Blues colours, he did at Sydney, so he is capable of doing it, but I strongly doubt we'll see that again on the weekend.I reckon we will and if Georgie Hewitt goes straight to him at the opening bounce that signals intention to keep him quiet and make another guy from North beat us in the middle. Fair points and the opening 15mins will reveal all.Hewett plays as a slightly more defensive minded sweeper role at the stoppage to allow Cripps, Walsh or Kennedy to go ball hunting, but that's not really tagging. Don’t worry mate, I expect the great man will find a spot in my side after he drops to around $490k.Have you traded Doc out yet mate??
Is this a good week to (VC) Doc ?I reckon we will and if Georgie Hewitt goes straight to him at the opening bounce that signals intention to keep him quiet and make another guy from North beat us in the middle. Hewitt plays that role exceptionally and still gets a heap of the ball himself.
Maybe and he is due.Is this a good week to (VC) Doc ?
39 possessions is a fair swag last week .... if he can tidy up his DE ....and you know, maybe lay a few tackles against NORTHMaybe and he is due.
Personally i like Naicos into Piggy though.
