Not sure what to do with Worpel

His cash gen has completely stopped and he was lucky to even score 45 on the weekend.

Could risk to hold for another week as he plays the bottom of the ladder Geelong (haha) or drop him to Rowston/Phillips but if i do this then i have to field Baker, Rowston or Phillips

Could also swing worpel back and bring Will Day in

Feel like its all sideways trade crap though

Who would you trade in out of LDU and Stewart?

I was originally leaning towards Stewart but the more I think about it I am now considering LDU as the extra 50k will be handy.

LDU

Idiots like me had Chandler and Van Rooy in my team up until season start, listened to all the experts on big footy and opted for 2 blokes who will probably never play a game of AFL.
I was selling Chandler in these parts all pre season. Couldn’t start Van Roo when not selected Round 1.

3,230 teams are paying 207k for SP Chandler this week so far

Probably 32,000 by lockout

I think a lot would have liked him this week but chose to pass and made 150K with Daicos / Ziebell / Setters or similar and still see value in a 200K rookie averaging 82 with a 90 rolling through for the next few weeks

Plenty of people had other things to prioritise last week and missed out on him for whatever reason.

It isn't as ideal as paying $123k, but he's in form and you'll still be using his cash generation somewhere down the line so who cares?

And I say this as somebody who brought in Dunkley with 3 rounds left in 2019 and didn't get Ziebell until after byes in 2021. We all suck in our own different ways.

I still think LDU ....has the biggest upside in points & $$$

My kent hasn't even been good enough to get a gig on the "on the decline list".

My R3 Trade-In's were Cameron & LDU .....now that's real bang for buck .....side benefited enormously from those two fine players, who decided to mount a "protest" at being selected in my side

Don't believe for a sec, that LDU didn't play, due to a tight calf ......nah, he heard I had selected him .....this was personal

My reasoning for bringing in Chandler last week was for this exact reason. Now with Chesser out, I don't want to miss out on the next best available rookie.

With Rooy and Brock on the bubble next week, this week is Amartey at 223k and Phillips at 158k. Caminiti at 153k still presents good value and should see some good money to be made still.

If Amartey goes huge again (let's say anything 80+) will see him jump to around 290k. Then we will be comparing his MP value against the likes of Ziebell. Phillips I'm not so worried about. He is clearly not best 22. Amartey wasn't, but now he has to be.

Problem is, how to bring in a 223k cash cow.

Wow. This could backfire. WCE, then Draper, Nank, Goldy then Gawn should be back.

Pretty sure most people bringing him in know it will require a second trade. He gets to 600k, Gawn comes back you sideways to English or wait for Gawn to drop a bit (both would drop but Gawns BE is obviously likely to be much higher)
