Thinking 1 week ahead, for people with JZ/Sheez/Chandler/Greene or similar at F5-8 currently, what are your plans if JVR goes well again the week?

It feels a bit early to cash in a slow burning Greene for someone with shaky JS and a high variance scoring role, but the BE will potentially be very low.

I have Philipou, Chandler, Caminiti and Greene. (Sheezel F4)

If JVR follows up with a comparable score, he will be hard to resist. I think we just have to see how he goes this weekend. Agree Greene is the only one I'd be inclined to trade at this stage, and not particularly willingly. So JVR would have to impress.

The only deadwood I wouldn't mind getting rid of is Chesser at M11. (I have Constable at D8, so I'd swing him to the mid bench, but I'd need a compelling new def rookie to make it worthwhile - not seeing any yet)

Yep that’s one of the risks. It’s also possible LDU goes 140 and Hopper scores 60 again. I probably am leaning towards holding though.

I’d personally hold. Seasons start, we all chase the points and look at the premiums who are firing and not. Plus we get caught up in the amount of trades we have early on.

Correct rookies is the key at the start and trust your premiums. Unless injuried!

I know it’s too early to trade hopper but would you do it if it allowed you to get a premo and Mackenzie on field?
Hopper and JHF to Phillips and LDU. I think I either do that trade or just hold.

I can’t help but feel that it looks significantly better structurally with Mackenzie and an extra captain option on field.

Probably Chesser to JvR via Davey if he does well again this week.

I've got Dunkley, Rozee, Gulden so the only other obvious top 6 forward candidate to me seems to be Taranto. Deeply uninspired, but I guess I'd best just flip Cameron to him.

Some $600k defenders with high break-evens, so there might be some keeper value there in coming weeks.

What happened with Cox of Freo? Great first two weeks, but in defeats, and a hideous 35 this week in a win. Freo fans, did his role change? Can't afford that sort of garbage in my side...was it a once-off?

I'll have to wring the changes a bit, and being Gawn > Cameron > someone else sucks too.

I'm thinking about Constable to Chandler now.

Chandler is a proven scorer and will be on my field. Has plenty more price to rise.

Gain nothing by doing this, Chandler should be a keeper with this form and will still increase by about 60k this week.

He has only averaged two 100's a year for the past three years so he has already had his two this year. You may need to get off the slippery pole.

I have 300k to go Callaghan straight to LDU. Should I spend the trade on it, or downgrade to a Phillips/Rowston or just hold? LDU would give me 5 mid premos (Touk, Bont, Jelly, LDU, Green), but I still only have 2 defensive premos in Doc and Daicos. I can't get to a Stewart/Sicily/Dawson without a boost.

Furgus going to be a slow burn ...just needs to score a 80 odd to kick start the moooing .

Cheeser dead rook to van rooin .a good trade if he goes ok again .

This lot scored 2,376 last week and saw my ranking rise 26,716 places to 4,343. So, instincts tell me to hold, however I would really like to get one of Phillipou/Wilmot off field.

Last week I got rid of Bruhn and Flanders, so the only ones to trade are probably Chesser or Constable. I have $161k in the bank. Options I'm considering are Amartey, Bowes, and Cole. Not sure any of the one weekers are worth going early on. Any other options I haven't considered?

I can loop Cowan/Wilmot with Chesser, so that helps the defence decisions this week. Not sold Amartey on field in place of Phillipou is really gaining me much is it?
