Anybody notice RTB mention Marshall being tired and hint that Cambell could come up from Sandy? Ya reckon we might see the latter next week?
I think he made that same reference for about 3 months last season and it never happened. Could be just trying to acknowledge Campbell's work. That said, wouldn't be surprised to see it with the short breaks we have coming up and having the last bye this year.

Interesting Jones only played 52% game time yesterday, may have been given the week off if Windy wasn't suspended, so could be managed in one of these two coming up.

I think the current set up would be too top heaving for the Giants, so I'm leaving Caminiti out. Windy in for him.

Also I think the reason Hastie was the sub again was there was no Sandy game this weekend just past. So there was nowhere to get him full game time. He won't be the sub again this week. We need all the midfield help we can get so Jones goes again (he was assessed for concussion after his brilliant mark so that may have affected his TOG). But it'll be one of the kids as the sub either way.

I’d be keeping Caminiti in. I think he looks relatively dangerous and with King getting up the ground, the big target deep should be valuable as they gel together. King at 23 and Caminiti at 20 should be the core of our forwardline for the next decade.

Sharman looked good on the wing too I thought.

If we want Collard in, he can come in for Butler.

Yep, grow the chemistry and get experience into him.

Collard I want to see but I think after maybe 1 more good VFL game. Would also like to see him get a starting spot and not a game as sub.

Sinclair looks like he's still trying to shake the rust off a bit, but he's getting there. It was fortunate that Wilkie was excellent.

As for the GWS game, it's... important not too peak too early in the season.

I think we might take a punt on Collard this week if we don’t see the game as winnable.
Yeah I'd let this one through to the keeper.
With Norff, Hawk and Weagles all before the bye we can realistically get to half way with a 50/50 win loss and make our run in the second half with mostly home games and a fitter squad.

6 day break to this and then 5 days into the Dogs game. Surely we'll have to manage some players over the next fortnight.
Frustrating fixturing from the AFL that it's the 2nd time in 6 rounds we will have a 5 day break (plus back to back travel) playing a team that has a 6 day break. The number of 5 day breaks allowed per team is limited for a reason so to be the 'disadvantaged' side both times is annoying.

When I first looked at the fixture I thought that Dogs game looked really tough with the breaks.

One little advantage here is playing the Giants at Manuka. It's not really their home ground more like a neutral venue. Still doubt we get this done though.

They've only won 1 of their last 9 games at that venue. That gives us a chance.

I think those saying that we'll drag the Giants down to our level are correct.
Can easily see another oppo score in the mid 70's, all depends whether or not we can take our chances. Which would be huge considering theyve kicked 100+ all 4 weeks.
Toby should get a week - pity, love watching him play except for the brain fades - and they probably get Ward back to bolster their defense.
Gold Coast really took it up to them in the centre and around the grounds with clearances so expect us to try and do the same.
Should be a good game.

Just had a look at the Greene incident, I reckon he's in trouble. Ball long gone, dumps in the tackle, head hits the ground.

I'd love to get Collard in. We seem to be lacking flair in the forward half.
Agree - but would prefer him to be eased into another game - GWS in Sydney - tough ask - not too sure he will be getting a lot of quality supply unfortunately.

Whoops we are at Manuka - a little better but not much
