might lose against Port and or Giants. We could be 8 3 at the bye, same as last year. LOL

Giants are dreadful, I'll be filthy if we lose to them this year.

That's how many scoring shots they've conceded from every round this season. Doesn't include out on the full obviously

Other team's inaccuracy problems are making them look more competitive than they are IMO

Just read the Carlton thread, FMD that was a read and a half. Apparently the umpires gifted US all night, changed the flow of the game, Brad Hill is s**t, all the frees to Curnow and Silvagni were there they just never get paid normally.

And it got me thinking, do we all sound as dumb as that? Are we just the same but with our own players? Surely not...

Was watching the game with my carlton supporting mate and he went from complaining the umps had put the whistle away in the last to complaining the umps were just trying to even the free kick count up from one breath to the next. But never had a complaint when they got one. Just gotta shake your head and imagine you're the same 😂

On Billings. I reckon Ross will want to get him in asap. A classy senior player. He wouldn't have wanted Dal running around in the two's so can't imagine he'd not want to get JB in and rolling in his system.
I feel sorry for the players that will come out

When are we gonna talk about mitchito as rising star. Shits on Ashcroft and sheezel

Too many Fantasy fans that live in the stats dream land, he won't win even if he plays like he has the last few weeks for the rest of the season. And honestly I don't care, Rising Star award is really in the league with Mark of the Year and Goal of the Year, it's a sideshow award for some entertainment. Coleman medal, Brownlow medal, All Australian, B&F's and AFLCA Player of the Year award are the ones that mean something, maybe the AFLCA a little bit below the others.

When I was walking out this old Carlton nuffy was saying to his kid they are giving us a false sense of security. I looked at him and laughed and said good onya champ. He then told me we didn't beat them today and that they beat themselves. I told him even with the umps giving them oral pleasure we still beat them comfortably whilst laughing and walked off. Morons

I told (and was told) StKilda are the strongest team because we hold up the ladder and that despite only winning one flag we are the best ever team. I am sure we all were! So I don’t mind a little brain washing of the young ones!

Everyone so quick to flop their Billings Weiner’s out.

You heard Woody.

play your role. Keep your spot.. or King, etc,

Stays at Sandy.
I think that is all talk. i cannot believe eg Steele being left in the 2s

walsh and cripps are terribly overrated, they dont hurt you. Walsh had 38 touches yesterday and gained 249 metres, cripps had 34 and gained 336.

I reckon coaches worked on let them use it as much as they like it goes no where and then just outwork as there midfielders dont get back at all.

When they played Adelaide last year, they had 81 touches between them and they got beaten.

Owens outstanding - membrey outstanding - ross back to his prickly best

Our strength is unsurpassed that we can hold the entire league no matter how many, when we rise it takes the entire collective to cut us down. The pissy little mobs then go have their marquee games about why small sections care about their combined existence, but no one has the league by the balls and throat like we do when successful.

Owens has been red hot in SuperCoach as well. Everyone slept on him “because saints are s*** and he’s playing forward”

I had Byrnes down as holding Billings spot round 1, but he has been playing very well.
RTB loves someone who runs all day and goes in hard when it’s their turn, in past poor disposal has never stopped a hard worker getting a game under Ross.
Can’t see Byrnes going out.

Hard to imagine Billings doesn’t come in either this week or next though.
Not as soft as some imagine, great runner and mint disposal.

Windy will make way as sun I think unless someone else pulls up sore over the short break.

Steele said that whilst Membrey probably needed the run in the 2s. We effectively left him out to reward the others.

This isn’t the Stkilda of 12-22 anymore.

just needs to do what he did last night every week and the AA spot is his. Can't believe I'm saying that about the guy who had 7 turnovers with his first 7 possessions against the lions last year

i can't even remember that game, maybe i should rewatch it

Extend him for 5 years.

Windy and/or Pou could have a break.
JB needs to come in straightaway and the other JB (Bytel) is also mounting a case.

I wanna talk about Pou. The kid turned 18 just a few months ago. To see him crashing packs the way he is in the forward line I think is pretty mindblowing. With big key defenders and forwards around and who knows who coming in from the side, it's a lot harder to get near some of those balls than it looks. Didn't know he had the big fly as part of his game. He'll take multiple moty contenders this year, it's just a matter of time.

And if it isn't a high ball coming in, the way he is able to trap, possess and offload some of those chaos balls bouncing in, in the blink of an eye, shows a natural game sense and spatial awareness of his pressured surroundings that is way beyond his years and level of experience. Such great hands and decision making in tight. Always hits those targets after making the right split second decision. Doesn't try to do too much which one might expect from a first year player not getting as much ball as he would like. Very composed.

With the new regime and the team doing well, let's hope players wanting to return home is a thing of the past and Pou will be a one club player. A multiple premiership one club player. Love ya Pou 💩
If he was born 5 days later he’d be next years rising star. Staggering how composed he is at his age.
