Fabulous yesterday. Every time we needed the ball back he’d deliver that perfectly (to us).never been more thankful we dont have acres anymore... guys so frustrating
I wanna talk about Pou. The kid turned 18 just a few months ago. To see him crashing packs the way he is in the forward line I think is pretty mindblowing. With big key defenders and forwards around and who knows who coming in from the side, it's a lot harder to get near some of those balls than it looks. Didn't know he had the big fly as part of his game. He'll take multiple moty contenders this year, it's just a matter of time.
And if it isn't a high ball coming in, the way he is able to trap, possess and offload some of those chaos balls bouncing in, in the blink of an eye, shows a natural game sense and spatial awareness of his pressured surroundings that is way beyond his years and level of experience. Such great hands and decision making in tight. Always hits those targets after making the right split second decision. Doesn't try to do too much which one might expect from a first year player not getting as much ball as he would like. Very composed.
With the new regime and the team doing well, let's hope players wanting to return home is a thing of the past and Pou will be a one club player. A multiple premiership one club player. Love ya Pou
That nearly hit the roof, was really high.
Lol hows RTB saying we toyed with Carlton in the last 10 minutes
Acres best game for us by farFabulous yesterday. Every time we needed the ball back he’d deliver that perfectly (to us).
Can we ban ever mentioning that season again? Here's a stat: Our points against per game of 59.5 is the lowest for a 22 game or more season in VFL/AFL history.
We hold the record for the least points against over a 22 game season ever, in 2009 with 1411 at an average of 64.13 per game.
We are defending at historic levels so far this season.

You can relate to them.Incredibly delusional Blues supporters over on their board saying they didn't want Ross anyway lol
Thought Howard was pretty solid today. His form the last couple of weeks has been encouraging.
Finally, finally, you got rid of that dross Ameet Bains/Jesus Christ avatar.Correction- a flag is the future.
I want phillipou to be fresh and firing come September.
He's been fantastic, but we need to address the reality that he is 18 and it's a bloody long season.
I think him sitting out for a week (no vfl) every 5 or so weeks would be a very smart thing for us to do

It means RTB says:was that Carlton's heat map?

Fantastic - suspect they have set out pre season what he needed to do to be contracted - he did it & now they are showing confidence in him & he is responding - great story!Video

Extend him for 5 years.
Coffield, Jones, King, Billings, Hayes, Webster, McKenzie, Sharman still waiting in the wings. Not sure many will get a game bar King based on our current form.
Keeler and Van Es progressing nicely too.
The red indicates the area carlton occupied the most in the field.was that Carlton's heat map?
