Out: Witherden, L.Edwards
In: Jamieson, Johnston

Jamo only an in if the big hamburger gets a run (plodding) for the purples.

Was only against the crippled Tiggers, but it showed that run, spread and pace is what will keep us in it for a length of time against Freo (particularly when they have 18 player's in our fwd fifty).

Can barely bring myself to say it, but Rotham stepping up is going to be critical to our chances with his height/kicking.

If you can't cover ground with pace then no deal this week, which counts Sheed out (please).

Does everyone know something I don't? Jamo out with a hamstring but being largely advocated to come back in.

Hedwards will be available to play after his ban. Hasn't been kicking the door down but from a match up point of view maybe they go that way. Nothing like rewarding a suspension to throw things out of whack

I think the assumption is the hamstring was probably just a bit of “awareness” at most and the main reason for the change was structural, going smaller in the backline against a small forward line. Even though nowadays you can actually make structural late changes without needing to pretend there’s an injury.

Jamo's hamstring was a bit tight after being at the Hip-E on Saturday evening.

(Completely fabricated)

First time in a long time we might have to think about who comes in....

And if that means Ryan and Sheed stay in the WAFL then so be it, reward form. Thats the culture we need to build again, earn your place.

Out: Witherden, Ledwards
In: ????

Separately, Brockman for mine seems to be missing in the last couple of weeks and should be on the chopping block.

I concur about Brockman, I didn't even see him against the Swans.

Only change from the team that just won , if Edwards is injured Hall should come in. Ryan is not fit enough yet one more WAFL game.

Pretty sure Sheed will be in at that will be for Edwards. I also think he will surprise a few as many just remember his last few outings when he would have been playing half fit half injured like most of the experienced players we rushed back the past few years.
Not sure we really need to make any more changes.
I don't think Maric makes a very good or versatile sub so either he plays or maybe back to WAFL to get a few touches.

Just don't like messing with a winning team too much so minimal changes. Ryan prob needs another week in WAFL to make sure he is ready.

lol cheers champ.

Round 1; 9 disposal and 0 goals
Round 2 12 disposals and 1 point
Round 3; 7 disposals and sub (concussion
Round 4; DNP
Round 5; 10 disposals and 1 point

My point is, he isnt really lighting the world on fire....and maybe a natural swap with Ryan.

Ryan played at half back interestingly for the WAFL Eagles.
I've been calling for this for two years and basically have been flamed by most on this board, every time..

When he comes in and becomes that creative, highly skilled missing link. I'd like to say to you board......Sit and rotate. Love AE 😘😘😘

Agree, I would have Flyin in, he was sensational in the WAFL first up and we will need that against Freo, his run and pinpoint delivery, but Brockman needs to be out for Dewar. Brockman has barely touched it. Disappointing to this stage.

No need to champ me, buddy.

If he was gassed after a WAFL game, he'll be running on empty shortly after half-time in an AFL game. Let him build his fitness for a week or two.

Personally I really want Rotham out. I can just see against a very structured fremantle press him completely holding up the play and making repeat turnovers for goals going back over his head.

Ae we expecting Yeo to get a week? Cameron got a week and Lever played out the game and wasn’t injured. Same scenario for Yeo, looked like Flogstun hit his head on the ground….. reckon he’ll get a week, which is ridiculous if the bloke wasn’t injured at all.
Nah, nothing in it. Wasnt even a 50 in retrospect.

Ryan clearly an upgrade on Brocky, who hasn’t yet lit it up, but has done a few clever things.

I’m really wanting to see Ryan come back in as a half back, either this week or next week.

Can’t tell you how impressive he looked by end of the game playing in the backline.

He looked very Jetta 2018 like playing there in the WAFL.

Flyin certainly put a cat amongst the 'needs another WAFL run' pigeons

Depends if Freo bring back Darcy but I actually wouldn’t mind trialling Maric as the 3rd tall in defence this week. Would match up ok on Treacy if Gov rolls off him and would prefer the ball in his hands exiting D50 than any of our HBF options. Would need to keep Rotham in the side if it wasn’t working or we wanted to swing Maric back forward.

More on ball minutes for Chesser and would not be against Hunt and Harvey Johnston as our wings.
