Constant changes are unsettling toAgree with those that have said the backline set up was odd.
Weddle needs to run.
The backs played very negatively as well. CJ, Sicily and Weddle all seemed very focused on shutting down their opponents as all costs (as opposed to balancing attack and defense.)
2nd quarterWe only kicked 4 goals from about the 4th minute of the second half. That's actually terrible.

Nah this is just your whipping boy target taking over. Chad wasn’t exceptional but wasn’t poor - he’s not getting dropped off of today’s performance.
Well I dunno if we did get it wrong?Constant changes are unsettling to
Just seems like we got the setups wrong, is this Sam Mitchell led or the new bloke?
Different story if we had the clear free kick paid and mark paid to Brocky.
The scoreline flattered the Dogs IMO. Should have been much closer.

And the Greene oneEven with that one - 3 goals in an entire half and 5 from the 4th minute of the second quarter is no good.
People expect him to perform like he did at Port in 2013-14. That’s what we paid for
I’m not touching the recruitment stuff because it’s been rehashed here 7,000 times and the mods will shut it down. However recruitment outlay still doesn’t mean the player should have supporters calling for their heads because they’ve had a game that isn’t at their stellar best but was still solid enough. The past two weeks Chad hasn’t turned in performances that would warrant his selection to be questioned.
There was a point where Wingard got it on the wing, a bloke nearby yelled out "Do something Wingard!". Literally 2 seconds later, he hit up Breust in the forward 50. Didn't hear from him after that. This is true but doesn’t mean he should get the laser focus every time we lose. Yes he turns in some poor games for us and the soft tissue injuries have been bloody frustrating - but the last two weeks he’s hardly been playing like he’d be dropped and the vitriol keeps on coming. I’ve heard it in person at games when he’s doing basically nothing wrong and some pinheads just vent their spleen at him. It’s just odd.

It was Nash or Lewis that gave it to him ant one stage and pointed to him where to kick it because they had better vision, so he proceeded to not do that. He doesn’t make good decision consistently anymore and his leg speed and poor kicking for goal means his days are numberedThere was a point where Wingard got it on the wing, a bloke nearby yelled out "Do something Wingard!". What is annoying me about Chad this year is the constant slowing the play down when on a potential fast play which allows all the defenders to get backNah this is just your whipping boy target taking over. Thats what happens with young teams they gas out .Even with that one - 3 goals in an entire half and 5 from the 4th minute of the second quarter is no good.

When we were winning flags or contending each year we would regularly get smashed in clearances and Clarko would constantly say “we don’t care about clearances”
We have now become the clearance kings and hopefully that will turn into some gold soon enough.
