We're sunk this season unless we can kick more goals- the ball is getting in the forward half enough to kick more than we have so far, just need the forwards to get in front, lead and demand the ball, take a friggin' mark and kick friggin' goals instead of hanging out the back, not putting physical pressure on their opponents.. Lyon needs kick up the bum too.

Well tell me how do you explain our continued and extensive injury list beginning the seasons Lyon has been involved with the club? Im sorry but only fools believe its 'bad luck'.

I believe he is a great tactical coach, but everything else I think we are entitled to question.

Out of interest, what do you think our fitness guys do?

Surely they declare a player fit to play or not? Dr Ross is not the one making the call on whether a player is fit to play or not.

Now if you were arguing that the high running game plan that RTB wants is somehow contributing, then you might have an argument. Problem with that now is that virtually all clubs have a high running gameplan now.

A number of clubs have a lot of injuries. Is the Tiger's Coach to blame for their high injury list at present?

Give Schoenmaker a run, expose the list
As in we have not been churning through our young players this season?

Yes we need to keep playing youngsters. But 7 each week is too many if you want to win games of football, and if you want the right environment so that the youngsters playing are getting developed well.

You keep having a crack at the bloke from behind your keyboard.

Be a real man and tell him he is full of s**t.

You’re not sharing a frustration. Your constantly hounding and criticising everything he says and does.

Grow a pair and go down there. He talks to everyone.
Wait, Ross? You’re suggesting we should go to Linton street and roll up to Ross with our critiques?

Surely I’ve misunderstood this.

I don't believe you have, as that is certainly the feel I got also, especially this part;

"Grow a pair and go down there. He talks to everyone."

Certainly seems like gauntlet is thrown to pile in at RSEA Park and just yell at RTB I suppose. Either that or Stav has just volunteered himself to be the voice of the disgruntled people by suggesting as such.

It’s easy to act the hero behind the keyboard and then constantly zero in on posters who have no issues with the guy.

Grow a pair and go down to Linton st and tell the bloke your issues. If you can deliver a fair and reasonable footy argument. He is happy to chat about it.

Suppose that’s that issue here as most cant actually articulate a genuine argument against the bloke other then you don’t like his style of play or he doesn’t say the things you want him too.

We currently can't win games of football. So, expose the list.

I don't doubt you that he'll happily have a chat, just, I also don't think basically telling people to pop down and verbally lash a person with supposed vitriol that has you a bit ruffled is the best course of action.

As such, I'll humbly suggest people get back to chatting about how Port are going to bend us over and make with niceties into earlobes instead of intimating for people to grow fruit and trek to chat with people.

Team Ross and team anti Ross are both guilty of doing this.

Suggesting you go have a crack at Ross to his face is farcical.

It’s a forum, everyone is here to discuss, that doesn’t mean we’re all gonna agree.

Verbally lash?

Are they incapable of just talking to another human being?

Since when have you ever met a decent footy goer that is more than happy to have a pleasant chat with a coach?

I dare say, if you have such issue with posters taking shots at RTB on a public forum where you state to them to drink some concrete, harden up, march down and chat with the man, then chances are relatively high it won't be a conversation for high tea.

So, i'll turn it back to you, since you're the one that took issue with such statements, do you believe they'll be capable of just talking to another person, given they failed with you?

Surely I’ve misunderstood this.
Ross Lyons time at Fremantle was full of personnel problems - Balic was a problem from the start , but there were many other causality that have been forgotten about.
Shane Yarran is another that killed himself , Colin Sylvia died in a car crash years after playing for Fremantle , Bennell was given a life line from Lyon but due to injury he never showed his worth but he cause many problems however Lyon stood by him.
Shane Kersten was another problem child that slagged Ross , however it was interesting reading when this was said by one of the players.

Blakely said Lyon had worked hard in recent years to improve his relationship with the players.

“He was very brutal and honest and very demanding when I first got to the club,” he said.

“And as he’s come along, he’s almost become a better people’s person. He’s developed relationships a lot better.

“He’s a lot closer to the players than when I first got to the club.”

It seems strange a lot of these players today just can't be told the truth with out them throwing the toys out of the cot.

We got Lyon back so we had a coach that would put the pressure on the guys to perform and if they don't like it they can leave and as we have seen Billings and Gresham wanted out.

We had the soft coaches like Richardson and Ratten and it didn't bring the results we wanted to we went back for a guys that calls a spade a spade.

Wasn’t once suggesting everyone had to agree.

You have one poster going on about him not answering a question on injuries…. The same presser he explained why Butler broke down again and why Dow took so long.

You have another quoting the bible and targeting supporters of Ross - in short because we are 2-4.

You can’t debate nor discuss any point with people like that.

So my point stands. Head down to Moorabbin create some form genuine conversation about their gripes and the boss will most likely have a conversation with you about it.

I suppose I should roll up to Parliament House to have a chat with Albo about my issues?

Head to Silicon Valley to chat with Woz about the iPhone.

Can you see how silly it looks?

This is great stuff but completely unrelated to my post?

I’ve met plenty. That doesn’t mean they don’t get angry disheartened or frustrated.

It means they can still provide a genuine conversation about their football club and the gripes they have as opposed to seeking out posters who stand at the opposite end of the argument to them whenever a presser occurs.

If you believe that’s the quality of people on here I.e football goers unable to be decent humans to chat to the coach… then we might aswell call it a day on here and pack the place up.
