I think our coaches are getting as much as they can out of a lot of VFL quality players.
Definitely needs to pull his finger out of his date. There’s more
To the game than spectacular flys and misses.

Allir tries to run through the tackle.Thinks mmm I'll get pinged for holding the ball here, I better try kick it. At that point he's being tackled so gets off balance and his swivel takes him towards the ground.

We all want the head protected but that tackle if he gets suspended needs to follow quickly next year with a change to the rules to put the onus on the player initiating contact which in this case was Allir trying to run through the tackle of a much smaller player.

Hmm don't think so, Sharman has actually contributed and played good football when he's not plugging holes. Don't forget how highly some players have been rated who ended up doing absolutely nothing!
He's been good, for sure but he's making some really fundamental mistakes at important times in this game after possessing the ball. Phillpou and Windhager the same. If we're going to win this game we're going to have to make the most of every foray forward.

Fox commentators debating Higgins, Nathan Buckley pipes up with the "Duty of Care" aspect as if it is overrules any other factor and any time a tackle results in an injury a player must be banned. What about "Contributory Negligence"? What if you make no attempt to when you have a free hand to protect yourself or brace your fall? You've then made a decision and partially and willfully contributed towards the outcome which you could have prevented?

I know which way it will go, the optics of head injuries in the last year or so has been so inconsistent and dogshit from the AFL that they will just ban anyone and everyone when a head knock occurs.

Why is everybody in career worst form all at once? Are the coaches accountable for anything?

Our skills are disgusting. Is it just bad luck that we only recruit players who have no skill, or do we have NFI how to make players better.

Maybe players are just knackered and can't execute because the game plan sucks balls. Blokes running around like headless chooks out there..

It's us, MC will find a way to do what he always does pinky and try and screw us some more.

At least Higgo managed to get Allir squared outta there.

100% - we look panicked and seems like every 3rd disposal is rushed. Need to find the balance of speed and taking an extra fraction of a second to think things through.

That saying a week is a long time in football is never more true than with us. 2 weeks ago I was confident of finals, now I’m thinking we just get games into the kids. So many players in our team are out of form it’s not funny.

Really without Ross’ tactical genius and Port kicking straight we’d be be 7 goals down here.
Tactical genius? What is that exactly, flood everybody back?

If Higgins gets done for the tackle on Aliir it's an absolute joke. There was zero slinging motion whatsoever, Aliir tried to kick the ball and literally jumped mid-tackle leading to his own injury.

Wilkie looks better with Doogs back in.

I was worried playing both him and Cordy but the backline actually looks alright, structurally. Only missing a true small defender as others have mentioned - I rate Stocks but don't feel that's his natural go

That membrey drop is absolutely brutal. At worst its a deep entry and a chance to set up behind the ball that's become an easy rebound for port and a flip of the field. Just cannot happen
