Why start so many high price rookies in the first place??

I avoided every high price rookie and at the end of the day they are all close to the same scoring wise with ups and downs along the road but any rookie over 140k was always a pass from me this year especially with the value at the lower end of the scale price wise coupled with job security etc.

Messed up my loophole and missed out on Murray's score. Captained Dusty over Titch. PODS in Goldy & Shaw ****ed me and general shitness from Billings, Jelly and my on field rooks has added up to an absolute shit show of a weekend.

Why start so many high price rookies in the first place??

Didn't like any of the others, eg. thought Barry would be dropped

They were supposedly going to get gifted midfield time given the teams they were recruited to who all lack in that area.

I didn't think all 3 would be great, but I thought there was a decent chance that 2 or at least 1 could be pumping out a big score by now.

Rookies are hard to predict at the best of times hence the reason to save the cash and buy low. 1 high price selection for sure but 3 of em is dangerous especially if it keeps you from starting a decent Mid price option from the start like a Coniglio/Curnow or Petracca who have all had excellent starts.

Had Gov last year. I rate him highly he's a freaking gun. But for whatever reason he just doesn't get his SC game together. Throws in too many 80's etc.
