If you’re Chappys Cowboys then yes. Nice score btw. You’re humming along nicely.
Yeah that's me mate!

I thought you were Stevebb but he not in it this season.

Once you mentioned those players I knew!

Billings is gone for me this wk. McLean likely incoming. Starting to think Hogan might be a great POD though. He's killing it on ball.

Up from 344 to 39 overall!

Got so excited that I accidentally posted it in the round 4 trades thread by mistake. LOL!

Had Gov last year. I rate him highly he's a freaking gun. But for whatever reason he just doesn't get his SC game together. Throws in too many 80's etc.
Yeah I had him in the later rounds and he averaged 105 odd at home last year,
we have the next 3 out of 4 at games home, a wait as see for me, bloody hell Savage looks so good but.
...and why you not got the banz yet champainger?:moustache::thumbsu:

Do your job Kenta Kintay!!:dog::dog:

Team at the conclusion of Round 3:

yNmOlzH.png

Score: 2132
Weekly Rank: 50006
Overall Rank: 30896 (26313)
Heroes: Murray, Doedee, Mitchell, Fyfe, Gawn, Ryan, Kelly, Holman, Naitanui
Villains: McGovern, Billings
Trades Made: None
Trades Planned: Between zero to two.

Defence: 4/10. With Sicily suspended, I had to pick one - or both, had Murray not stepped up to the plate with the E, of Murphy and Naughton to play D6. I made the right choice, and got 2 points from it - but with no tonnes aside from Laird, the defence wasn't a shining light (although the rookies did their job). McGovern, unfortunately, had a down game.

Midfield: 6/10

An 82, four scores in the 90s, and a 100 from Patrick Dangerfield as Captain, with Fyfe and Mitchell spiking. With a six man premium lineup, I need a bigger contribution all round from the midfield.

I decided to put the VC on Zorko instead of Fyfe, seeing as Zorko is my favourite and I went to see the Power host the Lions. I'd hoped to be able to go Zorko into Fyfe, but my telephone has been playing up, which left me to decide the C from Mitchell, Martin and Dangerfield. With Hutchings not playing, I figured that West Coast would send someone like Yeo to Dangerfield and Dangerfield would run amok, and Graham would tag Mitchell, as Hardwick stated. When Hutchings was in, it was too late to switch, although I might not have gone the right way at any rate.

Points wise, I lost a bit not trading Brayshaw to Coniglio (but kept $$$ in reserve, which will hopefully make up for it in the long run). Holman was good as a Rookie M8 and I have no quick need to push him onto the bench.

Rucks: 8.5/10

Gawn and Nic Nat going 110+, with English scoring well on the bench. Nothing to complain about here.

Forwards: 4/10

Lost 8 points playing Fritsch over Garlett, but nailed the 2/3 on field West Coast rookies (Waterman and Ryan over Venables). Devon Smith was alright, but Jack Billings was poor. Petracca the only one to crack the tonne.

Will probably keep Liam Ryan as a C loophole agent, even if he's out for an extended period, as I don't have a doughnut at present.

Overall: 5.5/10

I'm not really too upset with the way my team is right now - I reckon it has the potential to surge up the rankings, and starting with a shallow forward line hasn't hurt me (rookie wise) as much as I feared. I'll probably upgrade Brayshaw this week, most likely for a forward, although I could switch Sicily forward and grab a defender instead.

Rookies are hard to predict at the best of times hence the reason to save the cash and buy low. 1 high price selection for sure but 3 of em is dangerous especially if it keeps you from starting a decent Mid price option from the start like a Coniglio/Curnow or Petracca who have all had excellent starts.
I'm in need of a Lobb replacement, what did Charlie score this week?

Lobb is my only player giving me grief as well.

Don't know what to do yet with him as I have Charlie already.

Charlie went at 86 in a side that was smashed but has a 102 average from 3 rds.

Luke Parker v Marcus Bontempelli

Rd 1: Parker +87

Nights spent crying self to sleep: 5

Rd2-3: Bont +30

Nights spent crying self to sleep: 2

Back in those pre-season picks.

Do I want Toby McLean in my fwd line? Yes. Do I want Billings out? Not yet.

I am bringing him in for Lobb.

Don't reckon he'll be any cheaper.
Can't help but like picking a bloke who I want to do well.

His role is perfect for SC and Dees are a very high scoring SC team.

My only concern is obviously whether he can keep it up, and whether he can do it against good opposition.
North and Brisbane isn't a great sample, but he's done all he can with what he's been dealt.
