The best part of this round was sideways trading JOM (104) to Taranto (49) and losing my league game by 19pts.

I nearly did the same thing Friday night and had......

Hibberd out for Mirra and then JOM out for Dusty....

Mirra not playing stopped me and it would of been 2 trades burnt and a lower weekly point value providing Mirra went under 150.

Only reason I did not do it was Mirra not getting a game after being named in the squad as I am getting itchy feet not having Dusty.

All 3 of my league losses were under 30 points. Which could have easily been accounted for by not ****ing the Fyfe loop. Or a coin landing heads and me taking Titch as Captain...

Rookies are hard to predict at the best of times hence the reason to save the cash and buy low. 1 high price selection for sure but 3 of em is dangerous especially if it keeps you from starting a decent Mid price option from the start like a Coniglio/Curnow or Petracca who have all had excellent starts.

Sounds like we had a similar strategy. No rookies over $123,900 for me either. It's paying off so far with the 12 who played their 3rd game increasing a total of $816,700 in value.

Posted it in the trades thread too, but 2305 for the week, up to 2315 overall. Had surprise duds too, Witts, Ollie Pig and captain Dusty.

This is the best I've ever done in SC, normally I'm in the 50ks by now.

Fixes to be made - LDU needs to piss off, need to sort out what to do with Liam Ryan, maybe ditch Brayshaw. But happy apart from that to wait for the moo unless something drastic happens.

I didn't pick Dusty VC last week and went Cripps VC (d'oh) and Kelly (double d'oh)

Man if I had of picked Dusty I would be ranked 16th overall.
