Why can't you ever acknowledge that the other team wanted it more and simply played better? The Dogs beat you in I50s, clearances, contested possessions, disposals and effective kicks. Funnily enough, they lost the free kick count. There is no rigging by the umpires, just suck up the loss and admit that the Saints are no good.

Good win by the Doggies.Should give some of their younger guys some confidence and self belief going forward. Was a really good game to watch, skills weren't great but the intensity was high throughout the match and not much was left in the tank by either side.

Riewoldt was unlucky to not be paid the mark going back with the flight. Paid the price for it, was great courage by the big guy.
