Doesn't sound like King is playing. If that's the case I would go back to what was working in rounds 1 to 5 and bring in Cordy and Caminiti.
Sounds much too early to make a call. Two more sessions to get through for him personally and they probably also need to see how the dynamic works out on the track between them all for another couple of sessions.

Close but no cigar my friend. Membrey out, Sharman stays. Billings sub, Gresh interchange and Pou in the FP.

Did anyone who wants Billing’s in watch him at Sandy on the weekend

Be surprised if that performance gets him in the senior side
He was ok in the two games he’s played but clearly needs game time. This is a guy who when fit gets 40+ at that level so he has a way to go yet Imo.

I did. Not live. Also the last game. He was Sandy's best in both travelling at half rat power so I think he's ready to go.

His 1st game was good the last one was ordinary

Doubt RTB will give him a game if he was only going half pace as you say

Don't think senior player need to kill themselves in the VFL to get a game. eg Membrey.

And that's worked out well...

Haha JB has been veerrry ordinary, but so was the whole team in that game - a real dour, wet, shitshow.

He hasn't played well enough at all to deserve a call up, but I reckon he probably will. Runs on the board and all that.

Gimme the King & Caminiti combo ASAP.
196cm + 203cm young pillars ready for the future. 2 big marking targets but with the aggression to crash packs and follow up once it hits the ground.
I've had enough of running a 188cm high jumper as a 2nd forward. Michito easily did Membrey's job better than him the first 5 rounds of the year + he's got that extra height too for a 3rd forward.
We've been so small it's frustrating.

He has no runs on the board with RTB

And it's also that when they take kicks they are under pressure or perceived pressure or have run their arses off trying to create opportunity. Stats are great but they can show what you want a bit. Luck holds for a couple of games maybe but after a while it's a pattern that shows something more than chance.

Collingwood always walk a step over every line when there is a mark before standing, the umpire sets them back but they often don't do it quickly and opposition players choose to hand-ball off rather than wait. It's a strategy that manipulates the way others use the ball against them and it would throw up a statistical anomaly.

As well as the real pressure and perceived pressure opposition teams face against us there is also the mental pressure with them knowing that goals are hard to come by against us so every shot at goal they get against us has added importance and added mental pressure which makes a miss more likely.

Imagine the melts on here if there's one change and it's IN: Cordy OUT: Sharman and Max and Caminiti play at Sandy. 😀

Load up on the Crows if that happens but surely Cordy won't be returning when we have King and Caminiti available and Sharman showing good form.

Bang on. Time for King as the number 1 forward and Hammer to destroy the 2nd defender while Cheetos causes chaos floating through.

For a team that resorts to dump kicks under pressure it makes no sense to play Membrey

Bit late to the party but what's with the "danger game" stuff?

We have been absolute dog shit the last 7 quarters, Adelaide going well, home crowd/umpiring for them.

They should be (and are looking at the odds are) comfortable favourites IMO.

I just hope we can pinch it. Not at all expecting to win.

We were a couple of kicks away from blowing the PA game apart 2 or 3 missed chances cost us early 2ndQ, Adelaide have had 2 good loses but they were loses and just beat Hawthorn by a point it could of been 3 losses in a row.

Going by their board you certainly wouldn’t think they are flying.

Sounds like they have a few in their side who aren’t much chop, and plenty are calling for their omission, then you’ve got Fogarty who’s apparently badly hobbled by a knee (like he was in his draft year), Tex who they reckon is on his last legs and giving away lots of frees, Rachele who’s kicked 1 goal in a month and had 8 touches on the weekend, Thilthorp who last kicked a goal 5 weeks ago, and they’ve lost Murray, who probably would have played on King/Caminiti.

Neither side is going in in amazing form.

It was no surprise last weeks game was wet and windy which required players to win their own footy. Billings has never been that type of player he is more in the Hill mould and is competing with him as much as Byrnes for a spot in the side. IMO he will have to be kicking 4-5 goals or consistenty having over 30 possessions a game to displace anyone in the current team. Then unless we have more injuries or major form slumps, I wouldnt be surprised if Billings finds it difficult to win a spot in the side for the remainder. I just dont see him being RTB's love child?

I know supporters get excited by what he displayed in a few outstanding AFL games, but they are too few and far apart for my liking. Im sorry but I just cant see him being a part of our next tilt at a premiership, he goes missing far too often in the pressure games/moments. I would rather see Windhager, Peris and others youngsters developed to see what they offer.

We generally seem to play up, or play down, to the quality of our opponents. It's why we rarely pummel teams like NM.

I won't be surprised if we bring the heat to match Adelaide but I agree with you- based on the last 7 quarters, we are in terrible form and lose if we dish that out!
