We've got pretty similar backlines/situation.
U Goddard, Hodge, Enright, Goodwin, Shaw, Kennelly, Maguire Emg = Davis, silvangi
Me Goddard, Gilbee, Enright, Goodwin, Malceski, Kennelly, Maguire, Emg = Davis, Webberly
U have 5 trades. I have 6.
U could potentially plan on upgrading Davis. I could potentially upgrade Maguire.
I'm going to do everything I can to keep from going below 5 trades for MANY weeks. It just seems too dangerous being where we are at at the moment.
I'm nervous about having both Kennelly and Maguire in the defence as injuries could continue to pop up over the run home. Thats why I'm thinking a Scotland. Consistent, and doesn't appear to be injury prone. Touch wood.

Id go Montagna, Saints have a fairly cruisy run home and he can score big tons. Judd can too but I'm not sure who Carlton play during SC finals I have a feeling they might have some tough games, whereas Saints play a lot of games at Etihad late in the season.

My team is def- Goddard, hodge, malceski, Gilbert, Enright, fisher, mcguire (sheppard, shoenmakers) mid- ablett, j selwood, m Murphy, barlow, Sylvia, Burgoyne (Rohan, morabito) ruck- sandilands, natanui (warnock, grimley) for- chapman, brown, hall, didak, podsiadly, Franklin, fyfe (Peterson, watts) my team is almost complete although I don't have much back up in the ruck division, I have 6 trades left and the only I want to bring in is pavlich, the question is should I wait for sylvia to go up in price and pavlich drop and use 1 trade or trade morabito for gysbert and then bring in pavlich for Sylvia when I can afford him but then I will use 2 trades what does everyone think?

I enjoy Judd Magics comments. Does know how to play the game, however, I do like PK Le Grand's team and think that he will beat him easily (Sorry mate). Hurn will beat Waters. Selwood and Dal = no difference. Goodes will beat Fyfe. How many trades does PK have JM? If he has more than you, it will be tough!
On a side note, I have 4 different players to PK, and have slipped out of the top 1000 for the first time this week.

It's not quite as bad as the JM vs 6#MW shit fight of early 2009 but something tells this one could get worse if one of the starts sliding down the ladder.

If I had of taken it more seriously and not mucked around with non Ablett captain choices the first few rounds I would most likely be higher in the rankings than him. FACT!

Well I have beaten PK twice already which is no fluke. Once in the finals last season and once this season.
People keep underestimating me but I keep proving them wrong. I like being the underdog and flying under the radar, suits me fine.

Top 100 this week i admire your optimism Judd_Magic, It will be interesting to see if you can maintain that position tho with so few trades and poor depth on your benches IMO.
That said if you can keep your best 22 on the field u wont have too worry too much i suppose.
