Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

Pretty average result. 7/693.

Only have two rookies in this weekend so it was great to see Mzungu do the right thing and tonne up!

Special thanks to Dal Santo who is just an incredible player in SC 2011!

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

9/870
Another crap score from Monty, I thought he had turned a corner but he's starting to go backwards again:(

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

773/8 Was hoping for 800 from tonight, but pretty disappointing from Broughton and Fyfe.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

Montagna and Riewoldt underwhelming AGAIN.

Lower and Mzungu two brilliant gets for this season.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

Just relised I have 7 players tonight.
Goddard, Fisher, Broughton, Lower, Pav, McEvoy, NRoo
Mzungu would make it 8 but Ive started Didak ahead of him??? GOOD MOVE OR NOT??
Also gone Big Cox skipper with Pendles Vice. Judd is my smokey for a massive score
looking like the wrong choice atm, You better score at least 80 didak or else I won't be happy.
I'm 4th in the league playing 5th and we are even on points so whoever wins get 2nd chance.
I should do alright anyway as opponent has Newman, Enright, R Murphy, Ablett.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

8 / 770

Broughton dragging me down a bit but pretty happy overall. Can't expect too much when there is 8 players playing in one game and that includes both my bench players for the the week, Lower with a timely ton and N.Roo with a acceptable 70.

To come tomorrow Gibbs, Pendles, Swan (C), Goodes, O'Keefe, S.Johnson and Chapman

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

Hoping Sylvia stays out now...Mzungu's my bench cover for him.

This

Lower :thumbsu:

The definition of frustration - There's 30 seconds to go before lockout, and you finally decide that an underpriced Sam Fisher is the guy to replace Chris Newman, who may struggle to get back even for your SC Grand Final, especially after knee surgery. You're set on making the trade. The blue 'T' on Newman is clicked, you scroll down to Fisher and hit 'Accept'. There's now eighteen seconds to go before the first bounce on a Friday Night, giving you just enough time to contemplate whether you're about to make the right call, before hitting that 'Confirm Trade' button. You confirm the trade, only to have your internet drop out.

Fisher goes on to notch up 110+ and will probably average at least 105 over the last four weeks.

The definition of hope - Crossing your fingers pleading that Ben Jacobs can mirror the efforts of his fellow first yearer Tendai Mzungu and rack up a unlikey SC ton against tough opposition.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

I was always going to be in trouble this week with so many saints and dockers in my team.

659/7

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

737/8

Poor start. 8 premiums with only NDS and Fisher reaching their season averages. Broughton, Montagna and Fyfe all disappointing.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

520/6

I'll jump in and add my name to the 'I left Mzungu on the bench' club membership list...
My main league opponent (and the man who could knock me out of a top 4 finish) didn't. We did share the spoils from BJ, Roo, Pav and Lower though, and only had Montagna and Fyfe as points of difference, who evened each other out.

Lots of big guns today/tonight- Judd, Swan, Pendles, Bartel, Stevie J, Goodes to name a few.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

7/746. Not a bad start. Coxy(C) in the last game could be crucial to a great result?

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

560/6. Mzungu, Broughton, Fisher, Goddard and Riewoldt done. Been pretty happy with Ablett/Pendlebury as captain and vice rotating but with Ablett out decided to go with Cox as captain and Swan as vice.

Re: Round 20 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion

670/8

Terrible start, only Goddard and Lower cracking the ton so far. Broughton, Gilbert, Montagna, Fyfe, Pavlich and Riewoldt all disappointing. Meanwhile Mzungu is sitting on the pine with 113.

At least my decision to start Lower ahead of Puopolo and Duigan paid off.
