We have 5 more rounds and finals here at the Sweet FA. In the off-season I'll chase you down for a list of 20 player names (the Sim is based on the old 2-interchange system), and we'll have a sim match!

I follow the guys in SPb, but I'm also interested in both Bulgaria and Hungary these days. Croatia's been around for ages now. They're vets!
Edit: And Switzerland are a pretty exciting addition of recent years, too.

I actually started footy in Russia in 2011, in Moscow. However since then, the St. Pete guys have really taken over and come along in strides. I left Russia about 4 years ago now.. Moscow's still going ok though.

I met the Budapest guys a few weeks ago when Poland played against them in Vienna. Great uniform! Hopefully they can gather a few more numbers soon.

Are we off topic here btw? Apologies if so.

I love the Budapest colours! One of the best guernseys out there. It was good to see Moscow get back on their feet this year after some lean seasons. That derby needs to be active to keep growing Russia, imo.
And no, this is a general chat thread for one of the Sweet FA teams, we talk about basically anything we want here. Except aardvarks. Nobody is to talk about aardvarks, ever!

I took a lot, understood nothing, and decided to Google "Sim footy". Now I get it, and I feel like I've seen this somewhere before...

Yep, the historic origins of the club are based upon Fitzroy, Mobbs can explain more - he is the person who created the Sim, this league etc - so productivity decreases all across the nation are due to him and him alone. And nothing to do with people skivving off while working from home..

We play two seasons per year, 33 games plus two sets of finals (where we invariably crash out in straight sets !!)
Each week we have a match thread put up where we abuse, insult and moch each other and occasionally our opponents. Every week we have to put in a teamsheet and every Sunday afternoon - the output from the Simulation is presented to both sides - so we get to bask in the glory of victory or the bitter despair of defeat (mostly in finals)

BTW - understanding nothing almost qualifies you to be part of a team's Leadership Group !!

Aardvarks are adorable, Mobbs just hates everything when he wakes up but he’d probably pet and cuddle it when no one is watching…he does that to me all the time.
