We've lost a bad middle aged forward, for an older one who is a much better forward and better ruckmen.
We've lost an okay inconsistant mid for an outside runner who is around the same level (i think better) who will play on the wing mostly not HB. Add in we have got 2 first round picks, big win.

If we're after Currie, and he's previously been on an AFL list (Swans), then maybe the GWS can pre-list him and we can trade for him before the draft? Worked for Krak and Clarke.

Why are we even looking at Hickey? ralphy is so damn clueless we dont want to develop a ruckmen we have 2 of them already if we want a ruckmen get a ready made one.

Agree but i dont think Walshy and Hine are to keen on the guy otherwise they probably would have tried to get him involved in the Dawes deal somehow.

I was referring to potentially offloading any of our early picks.
Just keep them and go to the draft- which Walsh and Hine have already stated we would be doing.
Only if they take Wood as well to free up a spot on our list not to mention the $ from the final year of his contract.
