I like your style Hinkley you're a spineless liar but you always make sure you have a contract before you really stink it up.
You're only a loser if you haven't got a job.

This year has 10th written all over it. Not even good enough to be NinthmondUnless Kingy pipes up again or Tredders makes it onto the board, 24 will be another year donuts just silently glides under the radar.

Even if this held any semblance of truth, if they sacked him mid-season they could have had a coach ready to announce the moment the season ended.This is possibly one of the dumbest reasons to keep on a dud coach.
“I think also people have to understand that in two week’s time, there are a whole bunch of players at the end of the year when they’re looking to see what other opportunities may be around at other clubs and a key part of those players’ due diligence is who the coach is going to be. - D Koch"

It would be like Caroline Wilson and Richmond. Hinkley is not for Richmond but he's fine for the shit campaigners at Port.I just hope that Chris Scott does a Hardwick and pulls the pin on Geelong, because then I’ll be very interested to hear how highly Gerard Whateley rates Ken Hinkley when it’s Geelong needing a new coach.
Koch believes his coach's record speaks for itself.Winning premierships hasn't been part of our identity for years. You've got to remember we're not in the SNAFL anymore.
Koch has publicly stated that despite never even making a Grand Final Hinkley is the most successful PAFC coach in the AFL era. Anyone that says otherwise is just a "hater".

“The facts are Ken Hinkley deserves to continue as the Port Adelaide coach.”www.sen.com.au

I'm just popping my head in to say that i've finally cut myself loose of this rabble of a football club and life has been awesome. You should try it. Food tastes better, the air smells nicer, the sun on your face feels so much more amazing., So i guess in a way i'm saying, thankyou Ken Hinkley, David Koch et all for being such pathetic losers and giving me my life back.
It’s a bit like the suspension of disbelief amongst pro-wrestling fans — sure their bodies take a beating and the confected beefs keep everything bubbling along — but ultimately everyone who isn’t ten years old knows it’s really just a bunch of roided-up blokes in tights, undies and ludicrous costumes pretending to hate and hurt each other.
Similarly, Messrs Koch, Hinkley, their media minions and fanbase Uncle Toms are managing to erode what last vestiges of lingering relatability, nostalgia and hope we have for the club and footy in general.
We no longer dream of premierships or count down the days to a new season.
We instead pine for the departure of a dreadfully stale murderer’s row of tenured gaslighters who couldn’t deliver a flag in a league of one.
And we’re mocked, labelled and threatened with excommunication for it.
So unsurprisingly the suspension of disbelief expires, and it all comes into sharp focus.
Lo and behold, the joint is now just another soulless corporate ivory tower packed to the brim with smug white collar types padding their resumes;
Paying millions of dollars to a mediocre coach shamelessly adverse to criticism and accountability;
Who deploys a teamful of largely spoiled chodes, many young enough to be our children, that are paid handsome sums to keep fit and chase an inflated leather bag around for 9 months a year to varying degrees of success.
What a legacy!
Mate snap out of it its a bad situation but not hating the canaries c'monMy passion is gone. I'm finding that i even hate the crows less and less with each passing day. Instead of viewing them as the arch cross town enemy, with a clear mind i can now dispassionately view them for what they are - ie, a bunch of young guys with the same hopes and dreams, and taken from the same draft pool as every other young kid on every club list.
It's basically like 18 BBL franchises, pick the colours you like & YAY!!My passion is gone. I'm finding that i even hate the crows less and less with each passing day.
