Koch isn't the biggest problem. He's hardly a problem. He's going to endorse whatever the footy committee recommend.

The problem is CD.
Has CD ever kicked a footy in anger? We all know he was an average SACA cricketer, but why was he given the prime gig at an AFL club?

Even when he goes I will be left so annoyed that the club let this guy destroy our chance at a flag and maybe multiple flags.
He has ruined players careers, disengaged the bond supporters had with the club.
There is no doubt in mind that this is huge, this mess is going to take years to rectify, that's if we can ever recover at all.
We need a very big broom and then we need people in positions that have passionate ties with the club, then maybe we can get back to resembling the Port we used to be.

We have to start somewhere and soon.
Sack Hinkley first.
I'm not sure we'll ever recapture that ruthless quest to succeed. My feeling is the club will continue to exist as an irrelevant club with very little power in the Afl world. I am not keen that the current players representing PA wear the prison bars, most aren't worthy, but the fact that Koch & Cardone have failed to negotiate for the club to wear this jumper once a year to honour our history is a disgrace. They also need to fall on their swords.

Yeah I agree with your post.

The thing that pisses me off is the ex players, Tredrea copped heaps on radio after the game, where are all our past players and why don't they speak out if they love the club.
I noticed many from the 2004 GF were there yesterday but you wont here a yelp out of them.

Thank **** for the lone voice of Tredrea.

He has lost the players in the sense that they do not fear walking off the ground to face him in the rooms after a humiliating loss like that. Could you imagine having to face Choco or the likes after a performance like that?

With Ken if you put in an insipid, uninspiring performance, its okay. Its all just cuddles with him. They love playing for him because he doesn't challenge them, he doesn’t demand excellence out of the players in a way that sometimes they may not enjoy.

Yeh listened to the radio after the game & Port fans made it very clear to Tredders that he was elected to the board to carry out the fans wishes & stay true to the opinions he held prior to being elected. It was made abundantly clear to Tredders by the callers that Ken must go. After listening to the way Tredders handled these calls I am confident he will do everything he can to oust Ken. He is the members only link & I'm extremely grateful that we have a voice through him.

Talking about Hinkley as a Port person is an insult to everyone that pulled on our jumper and gave their all for the club. He's a stain on our history and must be expunged.
Once he's out of the club he'll be off to Melbourne or the Gold Coast and I don’t think he’ll ever set foot at the club again. I acknowledge that his first couple of years here were good ones, but looking back I don’t think he ever came across as really buying into our history or culture.

As much as there are some people on this board that are complete dim witted bellends, I think now 99% of us are hand in hand on this cause.

If anyone keeps going to home games now - you’re a moron.

Voting with your feet is the only thing douchebag David will understand.
I dunno now, the booing seems to have hit a nerve.

I imagine they don’t show him at all in the dogs game on the big screen and from then only if we’re winning.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the bumpkin. Watching him on the bench all I see is the Simpson's gif of the kid pissing himself.

Guy obviously has his short comings and his ability to not acknowledge them is why he never improved. Despite how many times he mentions the word "learnings".
However those same deficiencies in his character is why he hasn't moved on.

Problem has always been those running the club. If the club were run by Port minded people he would have been gone long ago.

Old sayings get old because they hold true. Fish rots from the head.
As much as I want him gone, I've never bought in to the name-calling and personal insults, but that’s just me. But I no longer feel any sympathy for him though. He should have realised a long time ago that he had run his race and moved on voluntarily, he didn’t, he chose to accept extension after extension, so now he just has to wear whatever comes next.
