As in if all losing teams scored one extra goal in each loss this year?Seen on reddit…if losing teams scored one extra goal Port fall from 7th to 14th on ladder
Im not trolling or anything just passing on stuff i hear, saw the person who told me last night he is still convinced its on, He is leaving even if he makes finals and does well this year it wont matter he will move on.Growly is fake news.
It’s called 'grasping at straws' , but who knows, sometimes dreams do come trueInterestingly Gossage said things changed in the last 48 or so hours which aligns with growly saying there was a meeting and Hinkley's moving on irrespective of this year's results. I choose to believe it's true
I'm very much inclined to agree with you, it’s more likely to be about his retirement plan.Hinkley was the right man for the job for us in 2013, he lifted our standards and got us all pulling in the same direction. He was a passionate coach who spoke extensively about accountability and getting what you deserve. It was literally his motto.
The Ken Hinkley coaching us now is not that Ken Hinkley. The Ken Hinkley coaching us now doesn't give a ****, he doesn't care about winning, he breeds a culture where footy and winning isn't important.
If West Coast appoint him thinking he'll get them on track like he did with us in 2013, they're incredibly dumb.
I appreciate the news. I was just making fun of the responses you got.Im not trolling or anything just passing on stuff i hear, saw the person who told me last night he is still convinced its on, He is leaving even if he makes finals and does well this year it wont matter he will move on.
There's enough stupid on here without bringing more of it over from Reddit.

“They say ‘when one door closes another door opens’.
Kenny Hinkley, the universally-admired father figure for whom success always follows, leaves Alberton in a far better state than when he arrived.
From a calamity you could be mistaken for thinking was Hiroshima in 1945, to an elite football club in rude health, boasting a new stadium, new facilities, and crowds he had flocking back to as The Pied Piper of Port.
Crowds who may come to lament their disgraceful treatment of the coach they so brutally scorned, yet who absorbed the slings and arrows with dignity and grace.
And now he takes his tune across the Nullarbor.
To the club of Malthouse, Worsfold and Simpson. A legendary trio of premiership coaches to be followed by a good man, itching to make it a quartet in the splendid isolation of Perth.
Go West, notso young man, and go well.”
To anyone from West Coast reading this thread let it be known that El_Scorcho is just kidding around here. Ken Hinkley is still a fine coach and upstanding pillar of the community who will take your club to three premierships in the next five years.Hinkley was the right man for the job for us in 2013, he lifted our standards and got us all pulling in the same direction. The great Ken Hinkley would be a perfect fit. He can be a father figure to Harley Reid, who is so far from home.Anyone got an emergency blanket I can borrow?

More than likely that this is a panic move by his agent as he knows his time is near.
Fingers crossed though. It could make sense if they feel they need a senior hand to guide them through a rebuild. West Coast is its own beast when it comes to media scrutiny and may be a bit too much for a first time coach.
Ken's never had a win/loss result that looked anything like that.If only Ken got the same media treatment here.
