Imagine the reactions from the bloke if he somehow did manage to end up at West Coast, and they beat us. There'd be all sorts of weird movements coming from his body. ******* gyrations.

Surely West Coast aren't stupid enough to sack a 48 year old coach who in 10 years took them to two Grand Finals and won them a flag with a 57 year old who has coached a rival club for 12 years without even making a Grand Final.

More than likely that this is a panic move by his agent as he knows his time is near.

Fingers crossed though. It could make sense if they feel they need a senior hand to guide them through a rebuild. West Coast is its own beast when it comes to media scrutiny and may be a bit too much for a first time coach.

Oh yeah, sounds great for Kenny. The bloke who is so adept at handling criticism 😂

“They say ‘when one door closes another door opens’.

Kenny Hinkley, the universally-admired father figure for whom success always follows, leaves Alberton in a far better state than when he arrived.

From a calamity you could be mistaken for thinking was Hiroshima in 1945, to an elite football club in rude health, boasting a new stadium, new facilities, and crowds he had flocking back to as The Pied Piper of Port.

Crowds who may come to lament their disgraceful treatment of the coach they so brutally scorned, yet who absorbed the slings and arrows with dignity and grace.

And now he takes his tune across the Nullarbor.

To the club of Malthouse, Worsfold and Simpson. A legendary trio of premiership coaches to be followed by a good man, itching to make it a quartet in the splendid isolation of Perth.

Go West, notso young man, and go well.”
I'm now convinced....

that in a severe plot twist, Tribey is Gerard Whateley.

Jesus man. I read this in his whiny arse voice.

It could have contained "I'm Tribes Whately, he's Mark Robinson, and this is footy from all assholes" and I still would have been convinced.

This was so good I almost threw my phone against a wall thinking it was real.

This is all a set up by his manager, get his odds up so he gets another 3 year deal from Koch, you watch he will be on a plane to Perth and looking at houses in Cottesloe in the next few days to up the $.

I don't believe the West Coast Board could possibly be this stupid, but here's hoping.

He's 100% not getting an extension at Port.

Of course they are, and they'd be getting a great deal. Now shush 😁

Hinkley was the right man for the job for us in 2013, he lifted our standards and got us all pulling in the same direction. He was a passionate coach who spoke extensively about accountability and getting what you deserve. It was literally his motto.

The Ken Hinkley coaching us now is not that Ken Hinkley. The Ken Hinkley coaching us now doesn't give a ****, he doesn't care about winning, he breeds a culture where footy and winning isn't important.

If West Coast appoint him thinking he'll get them on track like he did with us in 2013, they're incredibly dumb.
Bitter sacked Ken Hinkley in 2025 would probably act a lot more like the bitter overlooked Ken Hinkley we got in 2013 than the comfortable smug Ken Hinkley we have now.

Doesn't mean he's not gonna try

Ken has privately told people around him this year he wants his money owed on his current deal, but if Port tapped him on the shoulder, he'd class it as a "relief."

When he says he wants the job, the reality is he wants the money that comes with the job.
