Port winning finals = Ken's success
Port not winning a premiership = the list's fault
Essendon not winning a final since 2004 = Ben Rutten's fault and not a complete systemic failure going back nearly 20 years

Janus logic.

First, I dont mind Hinkley. He seems like a decent fellow and the players obviously like him but it is definitely time for change, but holding up pieces of paper saying Sack Hinkley isn't going to accomplish jack sh@t. You think the club doesn't know that some "supporters" (and I use that term loosely) dont want him there.... Of course they know. You think that the club will think, "Wow, those 20/30 supporters must be serious because they bought a whole ream of paper to print this on, we better do something"???? Not going to happen.

Unless North offer him something this year (as per the rumor) Ken will be here next year. Unless he wins the '23 GF, he'll be gone next year and that's it.

Acting like idiots isn't going to help anything except make the club, the players and the supporters look stupid.

As I said before, be careful as meme's live forever...

Just wondering how long people think he will last in 2023 if he coaches. Will he survive the year? Will he get us to finals and leave on his own accord?
I reckon he gets to rd 8 2023 then sacked after another poor start. Probably will have a softer draw which makes it interesting.
Don’t dislike ken but should have been moved on!
No doubt some posters will be right when we look back!

All the way til the end of the season (unless he quits) because Koch is a stubborn prick.

My philosophy has always been 'If you're not winning a flag, you need to be building your list so it can win a flag'. You wanna live in the past, I live in the future.

Burgoyne has proven in the few games that he has played that he could be the lockdown defender for guys like Cameron, Stengle, Rochelle etc that we have needed for a long time. It's got nothing to do with whether Hinkley coaches Port Adelaide or not, but rather, whether he is putting the needs of the team to be successful above playing someone like McKenzie, Clurey or Byrne-Jones who have proven that they can't defend those more agile forwards.
So serious question if you think Ken staying is closer to getting to our next flag, do you see Ken as being here in 2023 as acceptable because:

1. You think we cant compete next year anyway and you think saving the money will get us closer to a flag under the next coach?

Or

2. You seriously think there is still a chance Ken delivers a flag?

It's a Hinkley thing, not an AFL coaches' thing.

Bullshit. It’s mixed between clubs. Burgoyne had Clarkson, Tredrea had Primus. Josh kennedy (swans) has Longmire to name a few.

So it’s not just a hinkley thing at port, nor I’m the afl on recent times.

Awww leave them alone, they're just "passionate" supporters......... I mean sure, "passionate" supporters are basically "special" kids who leave tongue marks a little higher on windows, but let the crazy people wave their little fingerpainted signs. The internet needs more people like this

So… suck their incompetent d¡cks instead?

We’re all grown men and women who pay to watch people younger than us chase a bag of trapped air around a paddock.

None of us will be up for a Nobel Prize because of it.

The toothpaste is out of the tube on this one. We're a laughing stock, primarily because David Koch has been allowed to run unchecked.

I certainly want Hinkley and Koch gone from the club and do what I can for that result to occur sooner rather than later. But there is no way I would put that desire over and above my full support for Robbie on his last game.

Please do not put Hinkley and Koch above Robbie. Saturday is Robbie's day and his alone. He has deserved it and nothing should distract from it.
To use the occasion to protest is in my opinion, not only insulting to Robbie but it will most certainly and have the opposite effect, both with media and supporters. Leave your anger at the gate, for another day. There will be plenty. Be there for Robbie on what is a special game and time for him to have and remember.
Just add a “we love Robbie” to the “Sack Ken” sign

Our age or Older than us* for now

We had the fastest, hardest running team in the comp which had nothing to do with him. Once Burgess and some of those quicker players left we weren't making finals.
Just on this
Someone posted the 2013 Collingwood Final in the Robbie gray thread

I watched way more than i shouldve and the #1 that stood out to me was how much quicker we played

It's cowardly to do nothing. If you're a supporter like most on here and you've been a long term member and live and die by the results of the club, I don't understand how you can look at the state of the club at the moment and pot people trying to make some noise about it.

If you think holding banners is stupid, and you think dropping memberships is too damaging, what should we do?

Youre pretty shit at living in the future you've incorrectly predicted the last 10ish premierships
