A change of jumper and nickname is not going to change the crap rules and the crap attitude the club has taken with the reserves. Nor will it be any better to say our power v jumper wearing reserves finished bottom, nor will the history books show a distinction. It's still Port Adelaide Football Club in name and form, so the club needs to fix itself to avoid shit records.
I reckon the rules keeps the crows and our reserves between 8th and 5th most years, but it doesn't make the afl reserves rock bottom.

He has carried on like the absolute man-baby he is. Whilst I don't agree with Koch entirely about the complete collapse of Port in the sanfl, the amount of spiteful venom his comments provoked shows the complete nest of vipers we are dealing with.

Were never going to the VFL. People really need to understand that. The AFL don't want Port in it, otherwise it wouldve happened years ago or an announcement wouldve already been made.
Also, it's damn clear the AFL has zero plans for an AFL reserves comp, least, not any time soon.

Anyone who believes this board when they say we're joining the VFL makes me laugh.
The VFL has 22 teams, no way are they gonna add a 23rd and another trip to another state. It's seriously not happening

Again, in the eyes of the AFL, it already exists. It’s the VFL.
77.8% of its clubs play there. It will soon be 78.9% with Tasmania. Only 4 clubs are out.
That’s why they think there’s no need to rush.
They may not want, but with the VFL expansion, the AFL is running out of excuses.
The only issue is the WA teams. Keeping the SA clubs out along with them somehow helps the AFL believe they are being fair.
I’ve heard that before. Yet, here we are.
This is something we should definitely fight for.
