Carlisle got his intercept marking back for the first time today. Great performance to build on.

Stevens was great. I was sceptical when he was recruited but if that is his level I'll be dead wrong.

Steele is going to be a serious player. Webster has shown genuine improvement this season - still kicks the odd grass cutter!

Felt like the third quarter was like what the side had threatened all season. Very satisfying.

Hopefully this is a landmark win for the group.

Hawks might be a rabble currently, but is still a significant win knocking them off in Launceston.

Carlisle, Robbo, Ross, Steele were all great.

And steven and stevens

that game was thoroughly enjoyable

finally got a full 4 qtr performance, felt it was confidence boosting

longer destroyed mcevoy in the ruck. ross's inside game is seriously coming on. koby stevens is showing why we cant afford to carry dunstan. koby was very very good. the balance just looked alot better. steele got a bit better

sinclair though, WOW we've missed him. the way he uses the ball especially inside 50 is sublime

the back 6 is seriously seriously good, if we can fix the midfield and the fwd line gets some confidence i think we can push up the ladder. just need 2 game winning elite mids and some serious growth in the ruck

Wow. Awesome response from the guys after being rightfully challenged on their performance last see. Great to see us bury a team.

Could have been even more with some better fwd 50 entries.

Hawks are a rabble

So weird seeing Dal Santo as a Foxsports commentator interviewing his old teammates and not celebrating with the boys, I bet he regrets going to Norf.

Great win today.

We finally made our dominance in general play count, our defence was superb again and our forward line and midfield got better as the game went on.

Great to bury these campaigners after we were robbed against them in the corresponding game last year.

Brown, Carlisle, Roberton, Webster, Riewoldt, Stevens, Ross, Membrey, Weller and Acres our best for mine.

Billings and Bruce might've made the list if it wasn't for their missed kicks for goal and Sinclair was good enough to keep his spot, he's miles ahead of Lonie.

I bet he doesn't. It's a job. He's still a saint at heart clearly.

Coaches must have been reading BF (;)) because Gilbert in the ruck was much, much better for our structure. It probably meant he was a little bit down on his usual output, but you'd rather tank Gilbert's game and have Bruce kick 3 and take 7 marks, than run Bruce ragged while he has no effect in the ruck anyway.

am i the only one thinking sinclair was instrumental today? his ball use was sublime, especially when hawthorn were in it, an area thats been a real issue for us
It's always been an asset of his.

Played well today, hopefully he can back it up against GWS :)

He went at 80% for the 20 touches. That's almost effective as Newnes 29 touches at 70%.
