Billy ended the day with 5 touches and 36 hitouts. He was also only on the ground for 80% That tank needs to improve. He is up against Mumford next week and will be taught a lesson if he doesnt improve.

Surely with give Minch more than 2 games, he was good last week and still had 14 touches today which is more then Dunstan had in his last 2 games

No impact though, and I don't know why we're comparing him with Dunstan. I think Lonie was good for pressure every game he played, more than 4 tackles per game, Minch had only 2 today. Lonie many more pressure acts. If we're fair dinkum about winning next week then I think he has to play.

Need to mention Jack Billings. Played very well. His fiels kicking is remarkable.
That play bumping off Frawley and hitting a leading Riewoldt was almost play of the day.
Kicked those set shots and would have been in our best 5 IMO

Billings has been good this season but he needs to work on his goal kicking. If he can improve that these sort of games from him go from good to great.

We've been waiting for a match-up like this. Has been a lot of doom and gloom around here but we have matched up against some decent teams and even Brisbane has a team whose strength is our weakness with regards their midfield over ours.

Great news is we put a team to the sword who we should have. And we owed them for the massacres they'd given us while we were re-building. Let's hope today was the first of many for us them over the coming years!

Stevens was magnificent, as was Steele, very well recruited Saints.
Carlisle and Brown huge.
Webster and Roberton awesome. Especially Roberton, AA from.
Midfield took the rocket and were quality.
Roo is just a GOAT. Will cry for days when he hangs them up.
Ross, Steven, Monty all high performers, but we expect that now!
Sinclair slotted in nicely, Minchington not great, but has to be persisted with after last week.
Longer definitely lost his battle with McEvoy, wonder how Hickeys gone today...

All in all, that was a ****ing awesome display! A double whammy for us. Hawks lost, so we get a higher pick and we continue our quest for finals.

Also, the Saints banner was first class! Props to whoever came up with that, well played!

Gresham didn't get a lot of the ball today (only had 9 disposals), but he did a lot of damage when he did get it. He kicked 2 goals and had 2 goal assists - meaning 44% of his disposals ended in a goal.

Most satisfying win in a while. Finally get to rub it in to my hawks supporting mates who have given me crap for a while.

So many positives. Spread of goal kickers, pressure over 4 quarters. Koby offered so much more than Dunstan. Had presence in the midfield. When Acres is on he has a real impact.

Kudos to whoever suggested on here to try Gilbert as a relief ruck. No worse than Bruce and allows Bruce to focus on being a forward.

That Bruce miss. What a howler.
