Now that's impressive. Still a quarter to go!

It's pretty obvious now, Walker's too good for the SANFL. :D

Surely Tex must come in, he looks like he's on some serious fire.

This should be enough to bring him back in, hopefully ...

I can see it now...word out of the AFC will be that they are happy Walker kicked a few goals, but they need to see how he got them.

Too good for the SANFL, won't learn anything there. If a played a full year for Norwood he would kick 100.

4 weeks off, including a bye, in which two weeks he's kicked a real bag is a nice month of SANFL form.

Interesting to note that last year, the mid-season SANFL spell for both Mackay and Tippett lasted exactly four weeks in the 2s before coming back. Walker might follow in their footsteps!

Cap - any non-performing player besides a ruck, I guess. If a forward isn't performing, Walker slots in. If a defender isn't performing, Walker slots in and Stevens moves back. If a mid isn't performing, Walker slots in and Dangerfield/Douglas/whoever goes into the centre. That's one of the beauties of our versatility.

fair point. Still i'll look forward to hearing from Drummond how his whole game was

Taylor played the complete game, he chased tackled gave goals off and was very unselfish when shepharding goals through. Taylor gave two chases in which he ended up on the wing. Could have ended up with 10. He had two players on him the whole game and still wasnt bothered by this. This is the kind of game that cant go unrewarded should be bought back in next week. He is way too good for SANFL improved in defensive pressure, played a full four quarters and gave off goals. :thumbsu:

sounds good :thumbsu:

Davis got his first career goal :thumbsu: sneaking forward and had a set shot. Didnt dominate like last week but he went pretty good. 15-20 touches, and kept whatever man was him all game to 0 goals

Sloane and Armstrong were both quite for them, both had 10-15 touches. Armstrong was probably marginably better of the two

Petrenko was full of run all day playing in the midfield. Average-Above average game

That would be exactly what the club would want. :thumbsu:

Can't wait to see him back in Crows colours.

Walker's best game for Norwood. :thumbsu:

Kicked 7.4, perhaps even 5 behinds, and dished off at least 3 goals. Tackled a lot, probably 5+ and he even gave away a few frees trying to go in too hard. Chased hard, worked his way up to the middle of the ground at times and followed his man. His work-rate was terrific, obviously listening to instructions from the Crows. Marking was absolutely superb, marked everything that came his way including a few ripping contested marks. Basically he was just a class above, should've kicked 10. Dished a few off when he was easily within scoring distance. Thought he was being held virtually all day and should've been awarded a few more frees but was still probably BOG.

Will Young is going to be a terrific player. Had a few opponents, even had Warren a few times and his opponent failed to kick a goal all day. He has periods on Warren, Schmidt and Cook and none managed a goal. Stayed close to his man, a few spoils, one or two timely marks and one brilliant passage of play late in the second quarter which eventually resulted in a Walker goal. His opponent had the ball he tackled, ball spilt free but another South player was in best position to take possession. Young stormed after the ball, took possession, shruged off the tackle ran away and kicked to a teammate. Big applause for a terrific individual effort. Would've had close to 15 possessions, 5 marks in another solid outing in defence. Kicking was a little off today although more often than not it all worked out okay.

Myke Cook was a bit quiet, doubt he would've had 15 possessions. A fair few inside 50's, kicked a goal in the second term and missed another in the last. Had a few nice runs where he broken free of the contest but his kicking let him down a few times today. A bit of a mixed bag.

Kite kicked 5 or so in the reserves.

Davis played fairly well. Kicked our first goal today, and that was 50% of our first half goals.

Armstrong was ok at times without being brilliant.

Sloane's disposal was also improved.

Salter gave us a Port Adelaide-style raping in the first half with 7 goals.
